The Steelers will take a break from football on Thursday to head to Washington, D.C. to visit the White House.

Steelers players, coaches and staff will receive a guided tour of the White House and then a ceremony hosted by President Barack Obama will be held to honor the team for winning Super Bowl XLIII on February 1.

The Steelers also visited the White House after winning Super Bowl XL, hosted by former President George W. Bush.

The trip will be a quick one, with them arriving in Washington on Thursday morning and heading back to Pittsburgh immediately following the ceremony.
