LAST TIME VS. CLEVELAND

PITTSBURGHK Shaun Suishamconnected on a 41-yard field goal to give the Steelers a 30-27 victory over the Cleveland Browns in the 2014 season opener at Heinz Field. It marked the ninth time Suisham converted a game-winning field goal in his career and seventh as a Steeler.

Suisham booted a 36-yard field goal on the Steelers' opening drive of the contest to give the team an early 3-0 lead. Cleveland though would tie the game, 3-3, on its ensuing drive with a 39-yard field goal by K Billy Cundiff.

Pittsburgh though would score 24 straight points to take a commanding 27-3 lead at halftime. RB LeGarrette Blount scored on a seven-yard run late in the first quarter. QB Ben Roethlisbergerfound WR Antonio Brown for a 35-yard touchdown early in the second quarter. Then RB Le'Veon Bellscored on a 38-yard run. Suisham capped off the half with a 34-yard field goal as time expired.

Like Pittsburgh, Cleveland scored 24 unanswered points to open up the second half. Rookie RB Isaiah Crowell scored on back-to-back drives, rushing into the end zone from three yards out and then 15 yards out on the following drive. Cundiff then connected on a 25-yard field goal. And QB Brian Hoyer threw a nine-yard touchdown to WR Travis Benjamin to tie the game 27-27.

With less than two minutes to go, the Steelers' defense forced a three-and-out and the Browns punted to the Pittsburgh 43-yard line. Roethlisberger then led the team on a five-play, 33-yard drive to set up Suisham's game winning kick.

It marked the 31st time Roethlisberger led the team on a fourth-quarter game-winning drive in the regular season for his career. He finished the game with 365 passing yards, marking the 29th time he eclipsed the 300-yard mark in the regular season.

For the fifth time since 1991, the Steelers generated 300 or more total net yards in the first half (364) and for the first time since the 2009 season the team recorded 490 or more total net yards in a single game (490).
