Playoff Rally scheduled for Friday

PITTSBURGH - Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Steelers today announced a Playoff Rally will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 8, in the Courthouse Courtyard. Fans are encouraged to come down to the Courthouse and show off their Steelers pride as the team prepares to make its sixth postseason appearance in the last 10 years.

There will be music beginning at 11:30 a.m. with DJ Steve Maffei Jr., often featured at Steelers games, along with Steelers giveaways during the noon rally. The event will also include the Pittsburgh Steeline Steelers alumni Chris Hoke, and Steely McBeam. The rally, hosted by DJ Scottro and Tall Cathy from 96.1 Kiss FM marks the return of the "Terrible Tree" and fans are encouraged to bring items to decorate the playoff tree.

The county and city have declared Friday "Steelers Friday" and encourage everyone to show their support by donning black and gold, or Steelers gear.
