Miller is Digest Player of Week

HEATH MILLER
Tight End

There wasn't a whole lot that went right for the Steelers last Monday night in San Francisco, with the possible exception of Heath Miller's performance.

With his first catch of the night, Miller broke the franchise record for catches by a tight end that had been held by Elbie Nickel, and his 39-yard catch-and-run was the Steelers' longest play of the night. Miller tied for the team lead in catches vs. the 49ers, and he had 82 receiving yards.

Heath Miller is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were Ryan Clark, who had five tackles, including two tackles for loss to go along with two passes defensed; and Antonio Brown, who had five catches for 59 yards, plus one where he took a big hit down the field only to have the gain nullified by penalty; and Jerricho Cotchery, who caught five passes and led the team in receiving yards with 93.
