Mendenhall is Digest Player of Week

RASHARD MENDENHALLRunning Back

As it was, it was a very good day. Without a couple of those holding penalties on the guys doing the blocking for him and that lost fumble, it could've been a great one.

Rashard Mendenhall carried 36 times for 151 yards, with a 4.2 average and the Steelers' only touchdown, and those totals don't include a 42-yard run in the fourth quarter that was nullified by a holding penalty.

Mendenhall is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were James Farrior, who had six tackles, one sack, two pressures and two passes defensed; Troy Polamalu, who had four tackles, one interception, three passes defensed and a fumble recovery; William Gay, who had three tackles, including one for loss, four passes defensed and a forced fumble; James Harrison, who had six tackles, a sack and a forced fumble; and Shaun Suisham, who was 4-for-4 on field goal attempts, including the decisive one in overtime.
