Dr. Sandy Cavanaugh was nominated by her Principal who says: "Dr. Cavanaugh has dedicated her life not only to her students, but to the advancement of Technology Education. She has been at the forefront of her field for her entire career. She has written and piloted a national curriculum, been recognized at the state level for her efforts, and is constantly researching new and innovative classes and partnerships for her students. When one looks at the four categories that fall within the confines of this award, Dr. Cavanaugh not only meets, but exceeds all of them."
