Game Day Blog: Steelers take on Seahawks

Fourth Quarter: Steelers 30, Seahawks 39 Scoring Play: Russell Wilson hit Doug Baldwin at the 40-yard line and he took it the rest of the way for the 80 yard touchdown to give Seattle the lead with just 2:01 to play.Fourth Quarter: Steelers 30, Seahawks 32Scoring Play: Chris Boswell brings the Steelers to within a field goal with his 22-yard field goal.
Scoring Drive Notes: On third-and-12 DeAngelo Williams appeared to be stopped a few yards short of the first down, but shook off the tackle and turned it into a 14-yard gain to move the chains. Update: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has more yards passing, 456, than any QB ever against Seattle.

Fourth Quarter: Steelers 27, Seahawks 32 Scoring Play: Russell Wilson went deep and hit Doug Baldwin for the 30-yard touchdown. The Steelers defense stepped up and the two-point conversion was no good.
Scoring Drive Notes: The lead changed for the seventh time in the game as Russell Wilson took the Seahawks 73 yards on six plays.Fourth Quarter: Steelers 27, Seahawks 26 Scoring Play: Markus Wheaton pulled it in around the 24-yard line and went to the house for a 69-yard touchdown from Ben Roethlisberger. Two-point conversion failed.

Scoring Drive Notes: The Seahawks once again scored off of a Steelers turnover, this time Richard Sherman intercepting Ben Roethlisberger to give Seattle the ball back. Seattle has a total of 19 points off of turnovers.

Scoring Play: DeAngelo Williams scored on a six-yard touchdown run right up the middle. Ben Roethlisberger hit Jesse James for the two-point conversion.
Scoring Drive Notes: Markus Wheaton was Ben Roethlisberger's go-to guy on the drive and had the key play with a 41-yard reception.

 

Update: Heath Miller has returned to the game, however Jesse James then went in for him. Second Quarter: Steelers 10, Seahawks 14Scoring Play: Russell Wilson connected with Jermaine Kearse for a 12-yard touchdown to give Seattle the lead.
Scoring Drive Notes: On third-and-10 Russell Wilson hit Jimmy Graham over the middle for a 10-yard gain to move the chains. Wilson complete three third down passes on the drive.* *

Scoring Drive Notes: Ben Roethlisberger found Markus Wheaton in a crowd for a tough 19-yard reception.

* Update:* Jacoby Jones returned the ensuing kickoff 36 yards to the 36-yard line. Seattle's Kam Chancellor was called for a 15-yard horse collar tackle, giving the Steelers the ball at the Seattle 49-yard line to start the drive.

Scoring Play: Russell Wilson hit an open Doug Baldwin for a 16-yard touchdown.
Scoring Drive Notes: The Steelers went for it on fourth-down after being in field goal formation, but Jeremy Lane intercepted Landy Jones (in for just the play) and returned it 54 yards to the 24-yard line to give the Seahawks the ball.

First Quarter: Steelers 3, Seahawks 0Scoring Play: Chris Boswell connected on a 44-yard field goal to put the Steelers on the board first. 
Scoring Drive Notes: Heath Miller had 2 receptions on the drive for 26 yards, while DeAngelo Williams 4 carries for 19 yards.

Update: Cam Heyward sacked Seahawks' QB Russell Wilson for an eight-yard loss to end a Seattle drive.

 

Update: Rookie LB Bud Dupree, the Steelers 2015 No. 1 pick, is expected to get his first start today.
