Brown is Digest Player of Week

ANTONIO BROWN
Wide Receiver

For a guy whose night started with a dropped pass on the first snap of the game, Antonio Brown sure came back nicely from that. Brown finished the game – which for him consisted of one half plus one play in the third quarter – with seven catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Brown's touchdowns came on a 6-yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger and a 39-yard pass from Byron Leftwich.

Brown, with three touchdowns during his limited time on the field during the last two preseason games, is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were OLB Chris Carter, who had two sacks and two pressures; CB Cortez Allen, who had two tackles, including one for loss, and two passes defensed; QB Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 17-of-24 for 169 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a rating of 104.3; FS Robert Golden, who intercepted a pass for Kamar Aiken and returned it 47 yards to set up the Steelers' fourth touchdown; and Byron Leftwich, who completed 5-of-8 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns for a passer rating of 145.8.
