Brown is Digest Player of Week

ANTONIO BROWN
Wide Receiver

He came to the NFL with a history of making big plays both as a receiver and a returner, and he lived up to that reputation against the Falcons on Saturday night at Heinz Field. Brown returned the opening kickoff 51 yards, and the Steelers got another 15 when the Atlanta kicker was flagged for bringing him down with a horse-collar tackle. Brown also caught four passes for 137 yards, including touchdowns of 77 and 44 yards and he only played a half.

Antonio Brown is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 11-of-16 for 214 yards, with two touchdowns, no interceptions and a passer rating of 151.0; Lawrence Timmons, who had six tackles and an interception that he returned 44 yards; Crezdon Butler, who led the team with nine tackles and had an interception that he returned 95 yards for a touchdown; and Stevenson Sylvester, who had two tackles on special teams, including one on a punt return by Eric Weems that saved a touchdown.
