Steelers' players will be scattered around the country over the next few days, enjoying some time off thanks to the bye week.

"I don't know exactly where I'm going," said center Justin Hartwig before heading off. "I'm probably going to go somewhere warm. I'm thinking probably Florida. I just want to get away from everything and relax a little bit, let my body rest."

Offensive tackle Willie Colon was headed back to Bronx, New York and tops on the agenda for the diehard Yankees fan was hopefully watching a Yankees-Phillies World Series game at Yankee Stadium.

"I'm going back home. I'm trying to make it to a Yankees World Series game," said Colon. "I really want to go. Other than that I will probably just try see my friends and family and eat up at some of my favorite spots and hang out a little bit.

"On Sunday I will be watching the Broncos and Baltimore. I will definitely be watching that one."

He won't be alone in tuning in the action.

"I'll probably get an itch and watch games on Sunday," said Hartwig. "I'll probably be ready to get back to it by then."

There are some players, though, who will be staying away from the action on Sunday and just keeping their minds clear.

"I just want to kind of rest, relax, and spend some time with my family," said tight end Heath Miller. "It will be nice to spend a few days at home with the family, and I'm just looking forward to it."
* For running back Willie Parker, who is still recovering from turf toe, football won't be part of the plans for the bye.

"I'm not going to watch football at all," said Parker. "I'm going to chill, I'm going to relax a little bit and kind of have fun with my family. I'm just going to relax and watch movies and do stuff I normally wouldn't do."
