6 things to watch for on MNF in San Diego

What to keep an eye on in regular-season game No. 5 against the Chargers:

SWANN SONG: WR Antonio Brown needs 61 yards from scrimmage to pass Lynn Swann (5,534) for No. 8 on the Steelers- all-time list.

MONDAY NIGHT MIKE: Head coach Mike Tomlin has a chance to improve to 10-2 all-time on Monday Night Football and to 5-2 on Monday Night Football on the road.

RED ZONE EFFICIENCY: The Steelers need to continue cashing in on possessions that enter the red zone. Their 10 TDs on 13 red zone possessions through the season's first four weeks ranked tied for fourth in the NFL (76.9 percent).

HAPPY MEDIUM:The defense will be out to continue putting pressure on the passer (five sacks vs. Baltimore, 14 on the season), but not at the expense of surrendering 191 rushing yards, as was the case against the Ravens. That was a number Baltimore achieved in part by exploiting blitzes that ended up leaving the Steelers vulnerable against the run.NO LOSING STREAKS:** The Steelers followed up their season-opening, 28-21 loss at New England with a 43-18 win over San Francisco. For the second time this season, they have a chance to avoid a losing streak.

NEXT: K Chris Boswell has replaced Josh Scobee, the third replacement kicker the Steelers have turned to since Shaun Suisham suffered a season-ending knee injury on Aug. 9. Can Boswell perform well enough to close the revolving door at the position?
