Who is your football mentor or inspiration?

Curtis Martin, my godfather. He has helped me through life situations. The best advice he gave me was once you get in contact with money, make sure you still are the person you always were.

What motivates you?

My family. They have always been there for me my whole life. I just want to make them proud.

What has been the biggest challenge you've had to overcome?

Losing my grandmother, Thelma, my junior year in college. It was real tough. I overcame it with love from my teammates and family.

What scares you?

Failure. I don't want to let anyone down, especially my loved ones. The people I care about the most, I don't want to make unhappy.

When did you start to dream about playing in the NFL?

Since I was four or five years old. I would be in the backyard pretending I was Troy Polamalu.

What does it mean to end up on the team he once played for?

A lot. I was a fan of this team and now I am a part of it. It makes me want to grind harder and do my best.

Why do you play football?

It's the sport I love. I couldn't dream about not playing. I couldn't see myself not playing football.

What is your proudest football moment or memory?

Winning the Big 10 Championship for sure.

When you hear Steelers football, what do you think?

Unstoppable.
