The Steelers Girls Flag Football Spring Season launched on March 29 at Saint Vincent College, featuring local college teams in the Showcase Game of the Week. Schools included Allegheny, Bethany, Chatham, Franciscan, Pitt, Saint Vincent, and Seton Hill. To grow women's flag football at the collegiate level, each participating team received a $7,500 grant from the Steelers and the NFL.
