OH, BROTHER: Sunday's matchup with Baltimore will unite Steelers backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski with his younger brother Gino, the Ravens' starting center.
Both are Pittsburgh natives and graduates of Seton-La Salle High School.
"Being in Cincinnati last year, we've played against each other," Bruce Gradkowski said. "It's pretty cool. It's a blessing to have a brother in the NFL, and it's a blessing to be in the NFL. And the opportunity for our family to come together and watch our game against one another is pretty special."
Bruce Gradkowski maintained he has a pretty good idea who the family will be rooting for and what his younger brother will be up against.
"The Steelers, they have to," he said. "You know the parents; parents gotta root for both sides. But all my cousins and my wife, they'll be wearing that black-and-gold.
"I told (Brett) Keisel and Ziggy Hood and them, I'll have to tell Cam (Heyward), too, just get after him. I want him to get better as he gets older, but I want him to face some adversity, too. I told those guys they better get after his butt this weekend."
HEINZ FIELD FAN: Ravens Coach John Harbaugh is among those who will appreciate their surroundings on Sunday.
"It's a tough place to play, I can tell you that," Harbaugh said of Heinz Field. "We've had some success there, and we've had some failure there, as well. It's a great stadium. Obviously, they've always had a great team, so that even enhances it.
"It's a tough place to play but a great place to play."
