Steelers tackle Kelvin Beachum continued his efforts of giving back when he hosted the Central Texas Pro Sportsfest in Mexia, Texas last week.

Beachum hosted 412 children for the free camp, with two sessions held, one for kindergarten through sixth grade, and the second for seventh through 12th grade.

The camp was not only focused on teaching football skills, but also on sportsmanship and teamwork.

"I was excited to work with the young athletes and give back to the Central Texas community where I developed my skills as an athlete," said Beachum. "The goal of my Pro Sportsfest was to inspire kids to achieve their fullest potential and get excited about being active members of this great community."

Among those assisting Beachum were his Steelers teammates Chris Carter, Will Johnson and Robert Golden, as well as former teammates Ziggy Hood and Emmanuel Sanders.
