PITTSBURGH STEELERS 2020 GAME DAY CHALLENGE CONTESTS OFFICIAL RULES
ENTRIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE. ONE ENTRY ALLOWED PER ELIGIBLE PERSON PER CONTEST. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED BY LAW.
CONTEST(S) DETAILS: The Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 Game Day Challenge Contests (individually, a "Contest" and collectively, the "Contests") will begin every Thursday at 9:00 A.M. EST before each Steelers game day during the 2020 NFL regular season, and end at kickoff on each Steelers game day during the 2020 NFL regular season (a "Contest Period"). Each Contest will require a participant ("Entrant") to answer no less than eight (8) questions (including one (1) tiebreaker question) concerning that week's Steelers game (the "Game(s)"), such as how many touchdowns the Steelers may score during the Game, the first Steelers player to make a catch during a Game, which Steelers player will catch the most passes, etc. Each correct answer will be assigned a point value that results in an individual leaderboard ranking (as determined by the Steelers in their sole discretion) throughout the 2020 NFL regular season. The Contest Entrant with the most points (as decided by the Steelers in their sole discretion) at kickoff prior to each Game will win one (1) autographed stamped football (as selected by the Steelers in their sole discretion). The Contest(s) Entrant with the most number of points on the leaderboard as of January 4, 2021 (as decided by the Steelers in their sole discretion) will receive one (1) football autographed by a Steelers player selected by the Steelers in their sole discretion. By participating in one or more of the Contests you agree to these official rules ("Rules"), inclusive of all terms and conditions. Please read the Rules carefully before participating. You must follow the directions provided within these Rules to be eligible to receive any prizes in connection with the Contest(s).
SPONSOR: The Contests are sponsored by Pittsburgh Steelers LLC, 100 Art Rooney Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 ("Sponsor" or "Steelers").
HOW TO ENTER: To enter a Contest, you must (a) download the Steelers official mobile app, and either (i) create your fan profile, or (ii) if you already have a fan profile, just sign in; (b) make your predictions; and (c) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Rules (a "Contest Entry"). All Contest Entrants agree that all decisions of the Steelers shall be final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest(s), and Contest(s) Entrants waive any right to challenge any decisions made by the Steelers, and waive any right to claim any ambiguity in the Rules, any Contest, or any Contest Entry. Entries must be received by the end of each Contest Period. Limit of ONE (1), AND ONLY ONE (1), Entry per person per Contest. Multiple entries received from any person beyond this limit will void all such additional entries. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. Failure to follow any instructions provided in these Rules may result in disqualification. You are responsible for your costs of submitting an Entry, including online access charges, etc. The time of receipt of any valid Entry shall be the time such valid Entry becomes available to Sponsor. Sponsor's computer shall be the official clock of the Contest(s).
By entering the Contest(s), an Entrant gives express permission to be contacted by Sponsor.
BY PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION, ENTRANTS CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED. UNLESS THEY ELECT TO OPT-OUT, ENTRANTS TO THE CONTESTS MAY RECEIVE MARKETING AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION FROM SPONSOR AND/OR ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES AND CONTRACTORS. ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTESTS ARE NOT, HOWEVER, DEPENDENT UPON ENTRANT'S CONSENT TO RECEIVE SUCH MARKETING AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION AND YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING ARE NOT AFFECTED BY SUCH CONSENT. BY PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION AND NOT ELECTING TO OPT OUT, ENTRANTS CONSENT TO BEING CONTACTED BY SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES AND CONTRACTORS. CONTACT METHODS MAY INCLUDE MAILINGS, EMAILS AND TELEPHONE CALLS (INCLUDING THOSE GENERATED FROM AN AUTOMATED TELEPHONE DIALING SYSTEM) AT THE TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED, INCLUDING ANY WIRELESS TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contests are open to (a) legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America and the District of Columbia who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry; and (b) legal residents of Mexico who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry. Notwithstanding the prior sentence, the Contests are void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation. Winner will not receive any reimbursement or other cash equivalent. Sponsor is not responsible if a Game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason and no prize will be awarded if a Game is delayed, postponed or cancelled except in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Officers, directors, and employees of Sponsor Entities (defined below), members of these persons' immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Contests. "Sponsor Entities" shall mean Sponsor and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, and administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Contest(s). Sponsor reserves the right to substitute for the Prizes and Grand Prize with one of comparable or greater value at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Winners are fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with the Prizes and the Grand Prize which are not specified by these Rules as being provided are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners and Grand Prize Winner.
WINNERS: One (1) winner (the "Winner") of each Contest will be chosen from the pool of eligible Entrants who have completed the required steps as of the end of the Contest Period. Winning is subject to verification of eligibility.
PRIZES: The Winners of each Contest will be chosen to receive one (1) autographed stamped football from a Steelers player (as selected by the Steelers in their sole discretion) the day after each Steelers Game during the 2020 NFL regular season (the "Prize(s)"). The Contest(s) Entrant with the most number of points on the leaderboard as of January 4, 2021 (as decided by the Steelers in their sole discretion) will receive one (1) autographed football from a Steelers player (as selected by the Steelers in their sole discretion) (the "Grand Prize"). Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each Prize is $30. ARV of the Grand Prize is $___300__.
NO TRANSFER OR ASSIGNMENT OF THE PRIZES OR GRAND PRIZE: The Prizes and Grand Prize are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemption except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Odds of winning the Prizes and the Grand Prize depends upon the number of eligible Entries received during the Contest Period(s). Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with Winner's participation in the Contests and/or acceptance of the Prizes and/or Grand Prize shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner unless otherwise provided in these Rules.
NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will notify the potential Winners of the Prizes and the Grand Prize at the telephone number and/or email address provided in the Entry. Sponsor will make three (3) attempts to contact a potential Winner via telephone and/or email within 24 hours from the time a Winner is selected. If Sponsor is unable to reach a potential Winner by telephone and/or email within such 24-hour period, then that potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential Prize and/or Grand Prize Winner's Entry will be selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. At the time of Sponsor's contact with a potential Winner, such potential Winner will be asked to provide his/her proof of age, and a government-issued photo ID. The notified eligible Winners shall be the only parties eligible to claim the Prizes and/or the Grand Prize.
If any Winner declines any Prizes and/or the Grand Prize, fails to claim any Prizes and/or the Grand Prize, is unavailable for Prize and/or Grand Prize fulfillment, fails to abide by the Rules, or is ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate Winner from all remaining eligible Entries. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential Winner of any Prizes or the Grand Prize.
PUBLICITY AND USE RELEASE: By submission of his or her Entry, an Entrant grants to Sponsor, and each of its respective designees, the right to publicize or use such Entrant's name, address (city and state of residence), voice, statements, photograph and/or other likeness, for advertising, promotional, trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation, and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law.
RELEASE/WAIVER OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Contest(s) and submitting an Entry and/or accepting a Prize and/or Grand Prize, each Entrant and/or Winner expressly agrees to (i) be bound by these Rules, including all Entry requirements, and (ii) waive, release and discharge any and all claims against Pittsburgh Steelers LLC, the NFL and each of its other member clubs and affiliates, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Contest(s), and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, arising out of or in any way related to the Contest(s), these Rules, Entrant's Entry, negligence of any of the Released Parties, any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of the Prizes (or any portion thereof), or the acceptance, participation, use or misuse of the Prizes and/or Grand Prize.
Additionally, if the potential Winner of a Prize and/or Grand Prize is under the age of eighteen (18), or in the case of legal residents of certain American states or areas of Mexico where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, the potential Winner's parent or legal guardian must execute the "Consent, Acknowledgment of Contest's Official Rules, and Liability Release/Waiver" form attached hereto as Attachment A in order for such potential Winner be eligible to claim the Prize(s) and/or the Grand Prize.
PRIVACY POLICY: Information collected in connection with the Contest(s) will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy (https://www.steelers.com/legal/privacy-policy/), and these Rules. In the event of any discrepancy between Sponsor's Privacy Policy and these Rules, Sponsor's Privacy Policy shall control and govern.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, undelivered, or garbled Entries, interrupted or unavailable network or other connections; misdirected, blocked, or delayed notifications; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Rules, in any Contest-related advertisements or other materials; or any other errors, problems or difficulties of any kind relating to or in connection with the Contest(s), including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest(s), the processing of Entries, or the announcement of the Prizes and/or Grand Prize or in any Contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contests. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer, phone, tablet or other electronic device related to or resulting from participating in the Contest(s). Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the Prizes and/or Grand Prize (or any portion thereof), and (ii) disclaim any express or implied warranties. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of any such term. All disputes will be resolved under the internal substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles, and the laws of the United States. All disputes arising out of or with respect to the Contest(s) or these Rules shall be heard exclusively in the courts, state and federal, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONTEST(S) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST(S) IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest(s) (or any portion thereof) at any time. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify the Winner(s) and award the Prizes and/or Grand Prize by way of selecting a Winner or Winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received up to the time of such cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest(s). Sponsor further reserves the right to revoke the Prizes and/or Grand Prize or remove an Entrant or Prize/Grand Prize Winner, at any time, if the Entrant or Prize/Grand Prize Winner acts in a manner that is, in Sponsor's sole discretion, offensive, harassing, threatening, repugnant, or violent at any time in connection with the Contest(s) or Prizes/Grand Prize.
WINNERS LIST: For a list of Winners (available after January 4, 2021), mail a request and self-addressed stamped envelope to: Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 Game Day Challenge Contest, c/o Pittsburgh Steelers, 358 North Shore Drive, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212. The Winners list requests must be received by February 2, 2021.
ABBREVIATED RULES: Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 Game Day Challenge Contest begins 9/10/2020 and ends 1/4/2021. Open to legal residents of the United States, District of Columbia and Mexico aged 13 years or older at time of Entry. Odds of winning depend upon the number of valid Entries received. Sixteen (16) Prizes will be awarded. Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each prize, a stamped autographed football as chosen by the Steelers in their sole discretion, is $30. One (1) grand prize, an autographed football from a Steelers player as chosen by the Steelers in their sole discretion, will be awarded. ARV of Grand Prize is $300.
