START AN OFFICIAL STEELERS NATION UNITE FAN CLUB

1.Choose a Club Name

The first step in starting a fan club is selecting a name for your group. Select a name that reflects your local community while representing your passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Club names should be unique, welcoming, and appropriate for all audiences.

Examples: Black and Gold of Jax Beaches, Yinz in Boston, Steelers Nation NOLA

2. Create a Social Media Presence

To help grow your fan club and connect with local Steelers fans, we encourage all prospective clubs to establish at least one social media account, such as Facebook or Instagram. A consistent social media presence can help increase visibility, attract new members, and strengthen engagement within your local Steelers community.

3. Build Your Membership Base

A prospective fan club must have a minimum of 10 active members who are interested in participating in club activities and game-day gatherings.

4. Establish a Home Location

Fan clubs must meet at a public venue, such as a sports bar, restaurant, or community gathering space that can accommodate members throughout the season.

5. Host Steelers Game-Day Watch Parties

Your designated location should be committed to showing Pittsburgh Steelers games each week, creating a consistent gathering place for local fans to connect and cheer on the team together.

6. Form Your Leadership Team

Successful fan clubs have dedicated leadership in place to help organize events, communicate with members, and serve as the primary point of contact for the Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Club team. At a minimum, each club should identify a club leader and supporting leadership structure.

7. Submit Your Information

Once your club has established its membership, meeting location, and leadership team, you'll be ready to begin the process of becoming an official Steelers Fan Club by submitting your information here.

What's Next?

Once you've submitted your information, a member of the Steelers Fan Club team will review your application. If your club meets the initial requirements, we will reach out to schedule an introductory video call.

During the video call, we'll discuss program expectations, answer any questions, and walk through the next steps in the official fan club approval process.

We look forward to learning more about your group and how you're helping grow Steelers Nation in your community!
