Analysis: In a draft without a clear cut, consensus top-overall pick at quarterback or at any other position, the Jaguars take a player who might have more upside than any other after lighting up the NFL Scouting Combine. If it's defense Jacksonville seeks, Walker can deliver from a number of positions.

Williamson's Pick: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
Analysis: The Lions have been linked to Hutchinson from the start and that made all the sense in the world. However, that isn't an option here. So, Detroit takes a wildly talented quarterback to groom. Their offense is coming together.

Lolley's Pick: Ikem Ekwonu, OL, North Carolina State
Analysis: The Lions continue building in the trenches. They took Penei Sewell in the first round last year. This year they add another piece to the offensive line. They can play Ekwonu at guard as a rookie and kick him outside to tackle in 2023.

Analysis: The Bridge QB is already in place, the staff got a firsthand look at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., and the Lions still four more picks within the first 97, including a selection at the bottom of the first round, with which to secure more immediate help.

Williamson's Pick: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
Analysis: This would be fantastic for the Panthers and could complete their offseason offensive line rebuild. Plug Neal in right away.

Lolley's Pick: Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State
Analysis: The Panthers could go offensive line here – or quarterback – but they continue building what should be a nasty defense by adding Johnson.

Prisuta's Pick: Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt
Analysis: Head coach Matt Rhule once had Pickett committed to Temple. This time Rhule won't have to worry about Pickett changing his mind.

Williamson's Pick: Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
Analysis: New York is reportedly shopping James Bradberry. Even if they hang onto him, Gardner would be a great young corner opposite Bradberry with fantastic man coverage traits.

Analysis: The Giants passed on an offensive tackle with their first pick. They won't do so twice.

Analysis: Atlanta had the NFL's fewest sacks last year…but their wide receiver situation is even worse right now with Calvin Ridley suspended for the season. They get the pick of the litter in Wilson.

Analysis: The Falcons could go wide receiver here, but they can get one at the top of the second round. Walker is too good to pass up, and they need help everywhere.

Analysis: The Falcons get their pick of the wide receivers. One of the two from Ohio State will do.

Analysis: There are a lot of directions Seattle could go here, including quarterback. But left tackle is a great place to start and while Cross isn't a masher in the run game, Pete Carroll should still greatly respect what he can become at the next level.

Analysis: Pete Carroll is a defensive backs coach at heart. He gets the best corner in this draft.

Analysis: The Seahawks are entering a new era minus Russell Wilson. A little nasty up front, a lot of nasty, actually, should help the transition.

Analysis: Cornerback could be in play here after drafting Thibodaux, but New York realizes that Hamilton is a special prospect that has no business being on the board this late.

Analysis: The run on edge rushers continues. Karalaftis is the biggest beneficiary of David Ojabo's Achilles' tendon injury at his pro day.

Analysis: Too good a player not to take here. Between free agency and the draft, the defense is transforming rapidly.

Williamson's Pick: Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
Analysis: This is another case of a team just grabbing a player that shouldn't fall as far as Stingley has in this situation. This could be a home run.

Lolley's Pick: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
Analysis: Williams is on track to return from his torn ACL suffered in the national championship game faster than expected. He's too good to pass up.

Prisuta's Pick: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia
Analysis: Ron Rivera got his quarterback when the Commanders traded for Carson Wentz. Back-to-back first-round linebackers (Jamin Davis, 19th overall, 2021) will go a long way toward restoring teeth to the defense.

Analysis: The Vikings consider going cornerback here and no one would blame them one bit if they did. But the Vikings are now loaded with edge defenders, and they decide to stick Davis in the middle of their front. All around him will benefit.

Analysis: Linderbaum is one of the more difficult players to slot in this draft. He has to go to the right scheme fit. Minnesota would work nicely. Current center Garrett Bradbury can kick over to guard.

Analysis: The Vikings won't complain if they wind up with their choice of the available cornerbacks.

Analysis: Houston grabbed a high-upside pass-rusher already in Walker. Now they grab a cover guy in McDuffie to really bolster their pass defense.

Lolley's Pick: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
Analysis: The Texans need offensive weapons and Wilson would certainly add that. Not a bad haul for Houston to get both Thibodeaux and Wilson.

Prisuta's Pick: Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
Analysis: The Texans get one of the best tackles available and address both trenches in the first half of the first round. Solid.

Analysis: Davis would have been appealing to Baltimore and they are always in the market for a cornerback. But Linderbaum is a great center prospect and immediately jumps into a starting spot for the Ravens.

Analysis: Steelers fans won't like this one. But Davis is a nice add in the AFC North for the Ravens, who like big pluggers in the middle.

Analysis: Plenty of tackles to go around. Penning will fit right in with the Ravens.

Williamson's Pick: Drake London, WR, USC
Analysis: With their first of three first round picks, Philadelphia gets a pass catcher that is much different than last year's first round pick, DeVonta Smith. Jalen Hurts would have quite the diverse trio to throw to in Smith, London, and Dallas Goedert, making it more difficult to stop the Eagles great run game.

Analysis: The Eagles have needed help at cornerback for several years. Stingley adds that and sets Philadelphia well for its next two picks.

Analysis: This isn't a slight on Jameis Winston, who played very well last year and will be returning to the Saints. New Orleans is always up tight against the salary cap and having a rookie contract at quarterback would make that much more palatable. Sean Payton would have loved Pickett.

Analysis: The Saints could go quarterback, but they show faith in Jameis Winston and get him a weapon instead.

Prisuta's Pick: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
Analysis: The other half of the Buckeyes' talented tandem of draft-eligible pass-catching candidates. Quarterback's covered, now it's time to concentrate on targets.

Williamson's Pick: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah
Analysis: Historically, the Eagles dedicate very few resources to off the ball linebackers. But it is about time that changes and Lloyd could quarterback this side of the ball for years to come.

Analysis: The Eagles typically don't take linebackers early, but they could really use one. And Lloyd fits the bill.

Prisuta's Pick: Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington
Analysis: That's a lot of help for the defense and another receiving threat in the span of three quick, mid-round selections.

Williamson's Pick: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
Analysis: The Steelers are light on depth at wide receiver. Williams is coming off a major injury, but he also is quite possibly the best player at his position injury aside. Getting even four and a half years of his services on a rookie contract is extremely alluring.

Analysis: Both Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert said at the NFL meetings that the addition of Mitch Trubisky wouldn't preclude them from taking a quarterback in the draft. They get the one they want in Willis. Cornerback Trent McDuffie would be hard to pass on, as well.

Analysis: You can't have too many of these types if you're the Steelers, who haven't had enough inside linebackers in recent seasons.

Analysis: Not only do the Packers now have two first round picks, but they have four selections in the first 59 overall. Olave has plug and play traits. The Packers need a wide out to play right now.

Analysis: The Packers traded away Davonte Adams. They get a player to help ease their pain in Burks.

Analysis: Johnson is a prospect that it is just tough to find holes in his game. Every step of the way, he has passed each and every test with flying colors. The Cardinals could use such a player. Every team could.

Analysis: The Cardinals took cornerback Byron Murphy from Washington in the first round a couple of years ago. Now they pair him with another Husky.

Analysis: The Bills can add any number of things because they have no real needs. So why not add a stud guard?

Analysis: A physical presence to step in and play opposite Tre'Davious White, if not an especially experienced one.

Analysis: Smith needs technique work, but he has a chance to be great. In this scenario, Tennessee would probably start Smith's career at guard and then eventually move him outside.

Analysis: A nice little run on cornerbacks in the second half of the first round. The Titans could certainly use one.

Analysis: This is another guy who projects as just the type of player his new team is looking for, as well as one who addresses a position of need. Will the bands start covering "London Calling" at Tootsie's?

Analysis: Tampa Bay traded for Shaq Mason, but also got hit very hard this offseason on the interior of their offensive line. They gladly grab Green to fix that problem and he starts from day one at guard opposite Mason.

Analysis: The run on corners continues as the Bucs add another piece to their secondary.

Analysis: The Pack gets the Rodgers Rate on a tackle that's short on experience but long on upside.

Analysis: Karlaftis would fit in very well with the Chiefs defensive front. They could use his nastiness and tenacity, but more importantly, his production in the passing game.

Analysis: After trading away Tyreek Hill, the Chiefs have a definite need for speed at wide receiver.

Analysis: The Chiefs need help at receiver, too, but they can get to that momentarily.

Analysis: After trading away Tyreek Hill, Kansas City now goes back-to-back at the backend of the first round. Dotson isn't quite Hill, but Andy Reid could use him in a similar capacity at a much cheaper financial cost.

Analysis: With back-to-back picks, the Chiefs get a chance to address two of their biggest needs.

Analysis: The Bengals could continue to rebuild their offensive line in the draft, but this is also a team that puts a premium on cornerbacks. Elam has some excellent traits that would be very welcome in Cincinnati.

Lolley's Pick: David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan
Analysis: The Bengals feel they are close to being a perennial contender. So, they can afford to wait for Ojabo to get healthy.

Prisuta's Pick: Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington
Analysis: The offensive line was addressed in free agency. That makes secondary a primary concern heading into the draft.

Williamson's Pick: David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan
Analysis: The Lions grabbed Willis very early in this round and now keep Ojabo close to home. The Lions are in rebuilding mode and can afford to wait on Ojabo's immense upside as he rehabs his recent injury. Having him for five years is key here.

Analysis: The Lions can afford to take Pickett. They could then potentially trade Jared Goff to a team that still needs a starting quarterback.
