2013 (13-10): Vince Williams has played in 13 games, making nine starts…inactive 9/8 vs. Tennessee.

  • 9/16 at Cincinnati: Made his NFL debut…recorded the first five tackles in his NFL career.
  • 9/29 vs. Minnesota (London): Started his first career NFL game…led the team with a career-high 10 tackles.
  • 11/3 at New England: Made at least five tackles for the seventh straight game…left the game in the fourth quarter with a concussion and did not return.
  • 11/24 at Cleveland: Tied for second on the team with five tackles.

COLLEGE: Vince Williams played in 50 games, starting 26 games during his final two seasons…recorded 140 tackles, three sacks, 13.5 TFLs, one fumble recovery, seven passes defensed and one interception…earned All-ACC Honorable Mention, Phil Steele Postseason All-ACC second team honors and was an Under Armour Senior Bowl selection all as a senior…majored in creative writing and sociology. 2012: Started all 14 games at middle linebacker...helped Florida State's defense lead the nation in yards allowed per play, rank second nationally in total defense, and rank in the top six nationally in scoring defense, rushing defense, pass defense, pass efficiency defense and opponent three-and-outs…finished fourth on the team with 59 tackles as he eclipsed 50 tackles for the second straight season...recorded five or more tackles in seven of his 14 games...set a career-high with 10 tackles in the Orange Bowl win over Northern Illinois, which included his first sack of the season...set a career high with 6.5 TFLs on the season, and set a new career best with two stops behind the line in the ACC Championship Game win over Georgia Tech...named one of four team captains and given the Leadership Award on defense at the team's annual banquet. 2011: Started 12-of-13 games at middle linebacker…ranked fifth on the team with 54 tackles…also added five TFLs, two sacks, one interception and three pass break-ups...received one of two awards for best attitude on the defense at the team's annual banquet. 2010: Saw his first playing time since the 2008 season, when he missed all of the 2009 season with a back injury...played in 11-of-14 games, recording 17 tackles. 2009: Granted a medical redshirt due to a back injury. 2008: Played in 12 games as a true freshman…graduated early from high school and enrolled in January 2008, which allowed him to attend spring practice.

PERSONAL: Vince Williams attended Ridge Community High School (Davenport, Fla.)…earned a four-star ranking as an inside linebacker as a high school senior...named Polk County Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and all-county honors as a sophomore...amassed almost 300 tackles with 48 TFLs and 25 sacks over three varsity seasons...earned 3A second-team All-State honors as a senior...co-MVP of the Scout.com combine in Jacksonville...son of Mark and Vel Williams…Full name: Vincenzo Jerard Williams.
