Playoff pep rally set for Friday

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, City of Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto and the Pittsburgh Steelers today announced a Playoff Rally will be held at noon on Friday, January 13, in the Courthouse Courtyard as the team prepares to meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round Game in Kansas City on Sunday.

Tunch Ilkin and Craig Wolfley will broadcast live on 970 ESPN Radio from the Courthouse from 10 a.m. – Noon. DJ Steve Maffei Jr., often featured at Steelers games, will get fans pumped with his high energy act starting at 11:30 a.m. and there will be plenty of Steelers giveaways during the rally. The Pittsburgh Steeline Drumline and Steely McBeam will also join in on the fun, and Steelers alumni Dwayne Woodruff and Chris Hoke will be in attendance.

The County Executive and Mayor have again declared Friday "#HereWeGo Day" in Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh and fans are encouraged to come show their Steelers pride. Fans are also asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the food bank.
