Biography

Pat Reilly enters his sixth season as a coach in the NFL and first with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a defensive assistant in 2026. He most recently served as an offensive assistant for the Houston Texans in 2025, advancing to the divisional playoffs in his first season with the team.

In 2025, Houston's offense emerged as one of the NFL's best at protecting the football, finishing the season with just 12 turnovers – second-fewest in the League. Wide receiver Nico Collins recorded 1,117 yards and earned a selection to the 2026 Pro Bowl, while quarterback C.J. Stroud ranked seventh among all signal callers in EPA/play. The Texans posted a 12-5 record and showed offensive growth, improving from the NFL's 22nd-ranked offense in 2024 to 18th in 2025.
