Steelers to play on Christmas Day

The NFL will release the full 2024 schedule at 8 p.m. tonight, but the Steelers know one thing for sure.

They will be home for Christmas.

The Steelers will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25 at 1 p.m. at Acrisure Stadium. The game will be aired by Netflix.

The Steelers hold a 23-14 series edge against the Chiefs, and have split the last six meetings, which includes two postseason contests.

This will be the third time the Steelers have played on Christmas Day, winning both contests.

The Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens, 31-27, in 2016 at home, and beat the Houston Texans, 34-6, in 2017 on the road.

* This will mark the first time Netflix will be streaming an NFL game.

"The NFL on Christmas has become a tradition and to partner with Netflix, a service whose biggest day of the year is typically this holiday, is the perfect combination to grow this event globally for NFL fans," Hans Schroeder, NFL executive vice president of media distribution, said in a statement.
