Steelers among nominees for HOF Class of 2026

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the list of Modern-Era Nominees for the Class of 2026, and the Steelers are well represented.

A total of 128 players are eligible and those who spent all or at least a portion of their career include kicker Gary Anderson, guard Davis DeCastro, linebacker James Farrior, James Harrison, defensive back Carnell Lake, center Maurkice Pouncey, defensive back Allen Rossum and receiver Hines Ward.

The list of Modern-Era nominees will be reduced to throughout the fall, before a list of semifinalists is selected.

While there is no set number for any class of enshrinees, the selection process bylaws provide that between four and eight new members will be selected.
