Linebacker James Harrison was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in a 19-11 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Harrison had impressive numbers in the game, finishing with 11 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Harrison's fumble recovery came near the end of the first half, giving the Steelers a chance to add to their lead when Jeff Reed hit a 34-yard field goal on the final play of the half for a 13-3 lead.

He sacked Titans quarterback Vince Young twice, forcing a fumble on both plays. The first one went out of bounds with the Titans maintaining possession, but Steve McLendon came up with the recovery on the second forced fumble. The Steelers were able to convert it into another field goal to extend their lead to 16-3.

Harrison has 41.5 career sacks, moving him into ninth place on the Steelers all-time sack list ahead of Ernie Holmes (40).
