PITTSBURGH STEELERS 2023 WOMEN OF STEEL AWARDS CAMPAIGN REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS OFFICIAL RULES AND INFORMATION
The Pittsburgh Steelers are seeking Women of Steel nominations in six award categories for the 2023-24 NFL season!! The six categories for the Pittsburgh Steelers 2023 Women of Steel Awards Campaign (the "Campaign") are:
Team Player - A female athlete (current or retired) who has demonstrated exceptional perseverance and resilience in their sport. They have shown determination, strength, and a never-give-up attitude.
All-Star Mom - A mom who has made a significant impact on her child's sports team, program, or extracurricular activity through coaching, fundraising, and leadership. She has helped create a welcoming and inclusive environment for her children and their peers.
Golden Heart - A woman who has made a significant impact through her charitable work and philanthropy. She has used her resources and influence to improve the lives of others and make a positive difference in her community.
Gamechanger - A woman who is a trailblazer in her industry, who questions the status-quo, and shakes things up so others can succeed. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and creativity in her field, inspiring others to reach their full potential and pursue their dreams.
Community (S)Hero - A woman who a first responder or in the medical field (nurse, doctor, etc.) and has demonstrated bravery and selflessness in her role, working tirelessly to protect and serve her community.
Barrier Breaker - A woman who has broken down barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields, such as construction, engineering, or manufacturing. She has shown that women can excel in any profession and pave the way for future generations.
*Who is eligible to be nominated? *
Any woman over the age of 18 on the date of their nomination who resides in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Mexico is eligible to be nominated. Officers, members, managers, and employees of the Steelers as well as their immediate family members (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in their same households are not eligible for the Campaign. _Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Campaign is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law, rule or regulation. _
When are nominations being accepted?
Nominations are being accepted between March 23, 2023 and November 24, 2023 (the "Nomination Period").
How do I submit a nomination?
Nominations can be submitted on-line at https://www.steelers.com/women/nomination-form or can be mailed to:

Only nominations received within the Nomination Period will be considered.
What nomination information must I submit if doing so via mail?
If submitting your nomination or nominations by mail, please include the following information regarding yourself and your nominee:
Information about yourself:

- Whether we can reveal your name if we contact your nominee
Information about your nominee:
- Full name of nominee
- Address of nominee
- Email address of nominee
- Phone number of nominee
- Nomination Category (i.e., Team Player, All-Star Mom, Golden Heart, Gamechanger, Community (S)hero, or Barrier Breaker)
- Short description (300 words or less) of your nominee and why you are nominating them for a Woman of Steel award
- A list of any awards your nominee may have already received
- A headshot or photo of your nominee
Information collected in connection with the Campaign will be used in accordance with the Steelers' Privacy Policy (http://www.steelers.com/footer/privacy-policy.html) and these Rules. In the event of any discrepancy between the Steelers' Privacy Policy and these Rules, the Steelers' Privacy Policy shall control and govern.

How will the winners be selected?
A committee comprised of women within the Steelers' organization will review all nominations and select the winners based upon the information provided. All decisions are final and subject to the sole and absolute discretion of the Steelers.
When will the winners be selected?
Winners will be selected on or about December 4, 2023 and notified on or about December 11, 2023. The Steelers reserve the right to select a different winner in each award category if the originally-selected winner declines and/or is unable to claim the Prize Package (as defined below).
What will the winners receive?
Each of the six award category winners (individually a "Winner" or collectively, the "Winners") will have the chance to receive (a) two tickets to a Steelers home game in the 2023-2024 season; (b) roundtrip airfare for the Winner and a guest (if applicable); (c) a two night stay at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA (if applicable); (d) a chance to be recognized during a game; and/or (e) subject to receiving the Winner's permission, a featured story on the Steelers' official website, Steelers' official social media accounts, Steelers' emails, and/or the Steelers' official mobile app via photos, videos and/or articles (collectively, the "Prize Package").
Exact Prize Package details are subject to change and shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Steelers. Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each Prize Package is $3,500. The Steelers reserve the right in their sole and absolute discretion to substitute any portion of the Prize Package with one of comparable or greater value. Actual value of the Prize may vary based on the actual items awarded. Winners will not receive the difference between actual value and ARV, if any. Winners are fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes).
Winners and any travel companions must travel on the dates surrounding the Steelers' final home game of the 2023-24 regular season. Trips must be booked through the Steelers at least seven (7) days prior to departure. Winners and any travel companions from Mexico are responsible for obtaining and paying for any required visas, passports or other such legal documentation necessary to travel between Mexico and the United States. In the event Winners and any travel companions from Mexico do not have the proper legal documentation or the government of the United States denies their entry into the United States for any reason, the Steelers will not be responsible and no Prize Package will be awarded. Prize Winners and any travel companions are also responsible for complying with and adhering to any travel rules or restrictions related to COVID-19 or otherwise.
The Prize Package trip is subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round trip. The Steelers will determine airline and flight itinerary in their sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Rules, and those set forth by the Steelers' airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract.
All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the Prize Package description above, including, but not limited to, additional ground transportation, meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winners.
The Winners' travel companions must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure, unless the travel companion is the child of a Winner or a sibling of a Winner with the appropriate parental permissions and releases and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the Winners. Travel companions (or his/her parent or legal guardian, if applicable) must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply.
If, in the sole and absolute of the Steelers, air travel is not required due to a Winner's proximity to Pittsburgh, PA, ground transportation to and from a Winner's home to the hotel site in Pittsburgh, PA will be substituted for round trip air travel at the Steelers' sole and absolute discretion. Such ground transportation will include one trip to Pittsburgh, PA and one return trip to Winner's home (i.e., daily round trip transportation will NOT be provided).
Should a Winner elect to provide her own transportation to the Steelers game instead of accepting ground transportation by the Steelers, or should a Winner elect not to stay in the hotel arranged for by the Steelers, a Winner will not receive any reimbursement or other cash equivalent for the cost of such ground transportation or hotel. The Steelers will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.
The Steelers are not responsible if the Steelers game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, in which event that portion of the Prize Package will be forfeited in its entirety and no substitutions will be provided except in the Steelers' sole and absolute discretion. ARV of the Prize Package may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination.
May the Prize Package be transferred to somebody else?
No. The Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemption except at the Steelers' sole and absolute discretion.
How will the Winners be notified?
The Steelers will notify the potential Winners at the telephone numbers (land line or cell) and/or by the emails provided in the nominations. The Steelers will make three (3) attempts to contact potential Winners via telephone and/or email within twenty four (24) hours from the time of the potential Winners are selected. If the Steelers are unable to reach a potential Winner by telephone and/or email within such twenty four (24) hour period, then that potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential Winner will be selected at the Steelers' sole and absolute discretion. At the time of the Steelers' contact with the potential Winners, the potential Winners will be asked to provide her proof of age and a government-issued photo ID. The notified eligible Winners shall be the only persons eligible to claim the Prize Packages.
If a Winner declines the Prize Package, fails to claim the Prize Package, is unavailable for Prize Package fulfillment, fails to abide by all the Rules, or is ineligible, the Steelers may select an alternate Winner. The Steelers are not responsible for and shall not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential Winner.
THE STEELERS RESERVE THE RIGHT, IN THEIR SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION, TO (A) CANCEL OR SUSPEND THE CAMPAIGN AT ANY TIME; (B) MODIFY THESE RULES AT ANY TIME; AND (C) REVOKE A PRIZE PACKAGE.
