2022 PITTSBURGH STEELERS IMMACULATE RECEPTION CELEBRATION GIVEAWAY PROMOTION OFFICIAL RULES
ENTRIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE. ONE ENTRY ALLOWED PER PERSON. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED BY SPONSOR. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED BY LAW.
By participating in the 2022 Pittsburgh Steelers Immaculate Reception Celebration Giveaway Promotion (the "Promotion"), you ("you" or "Entrant") agree to these Official Rules ("Rules"), inclusive of all terms and conditions. Please read the Rules carefully before participating. You must follow the directions provided within these Rules to be eligible to win (i) a Pittsburgh Steelers Terry Bradshaw jersey with an Immaculate Reception patch; (ii) an Immaculate Reception Terrible Towel; or (iii) an autographed Pittsburgh Steelers Franco Harris jersey with an Immaculate Reception patch (the "Prizes"), all as determined by the Steelers in their sole and absolute discretion.
SPONSOR:The Promotion is sponsored by Pittsburgh Steelers LLC, 100 Art Rooney Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 ("Sponsor" or "Steelers").
HOW TO ENTER: The first Promotion begins on December 22, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. ET and ends on December 22, 2022 at 11:59 P.M. ET ("First Promotion Period"). To enter the first Promotion, you must (i) create and/or login to your Twitter account; (ii) follow the official Steelers History Twitter account; and (iii) "retweet" the Promotion Twitter post.
The second Promotion begins on December 23, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. ET and ends on December 23, 2022 at 11:59 P.M. ET ("Second Promotion Period"). To enter the second Promotion, you must (i) create and/or login to your Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter accounts; (ii) follow the official Steelers Nation Unite Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter accounts; (iii) "like" the Promotion post and tag a friend in the comments section for purposes of entering the Promotion vis-à-vis Facebook and/or Instagram; and (iv) "like" and "retweet" the Promotion Twitter post for purposes of entering the Promotion vis-à-vis Twitter.
The third Promotion begins on December 24, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. ET and ends on December 24, 2022 at 11:59 P.M. ET ("Third Promotion Period", and collectively with the First Promotion Period and Second Promotion Period, the "Promotion Periods"). To enter the third Promotion, you must (i) create and/or login to your Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter accounts; (ii) "like" the Promotion Facebook/Instagram post and tag a friend in the comments section for purposes of entering the Promotion vis-à-vis Facebook and/or Instagram; and (iii) "like" and "retweet" the Promotion Twitter post for purposes of entering the Promotion vis-à-vis Twitter.
Those eligible individuals submitting a completed social media entry as described above (the "Entrants") agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Rules, and will be entered into a random Prize drawing to be held by Sponsor after each of the Promotion Periods (the "Drawing").
All Entrants agree that all decisions of Sponsor shall be final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Promotion(s). Entrants waive any right to (a) challenge any decisions made by Sponsor, and (b) claim any ambiguities in the Rules or any Entry.
ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY: Send a letter or post card which includes your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and date of birth postmarked between December 22, 2022 and December 24, 2022 (no sooner and no later), to Steelers Nation Unite, Immaculate Reception, 358 North Shore Drive, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212. By completing and sending the mail-in entry, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Rules (the "Mail-In Entry", and collectively with the above-referenced social media entries, an "Entry").
Entries, regardless of the method of Entry, must be received or postmarked by the end of the Promotion Periods. Limit of ONE (1), AND ONLY ONE (1), ENTRY PER PERSON. Multiple entries received from any person beyond this limit may void all such additional entries. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted.
Failure to follow any instructions provided in these Rules may result in disqualification. All materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. You are responsible for your costs of entering, including online access charges, etc. The time of receipt of any valid Entry shall be the time such valid Entry becomes available to Sponsor. Sponsor's computer shall be the official clock of the Promotion(s).
By entering the Promotion(s), an Entrant gives express permission to be contacted by Sponsor.
BY PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION, ENTRANTS CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED. UNLESS AND UNTIL THEY ELECT TO OPT OUT, ENTRANTS TO THE PROMOTION MAY RECEIVE MARKETING AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION FROM SPONSOR AND/OR ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES AND CONTRACTORS. ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTION IS NOT, HOWEVER, DEPENDENT UPON ENTRANT'S CONSENT TO RECEIVE SUCH MARKETING AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION AND YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING ARE NOT AFFECTED BY SUCH CONSENT. BY PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION AND NOT ELECTING TO OPT OUT, ENTRANTS CONSENT TO BEING CONTACTED BY SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES AND CONTRACTORS. CONTACT METHODS MAY INCLUDE MAILINGS, EMAILS, TEXTS AND TELEPHONE CALLS (INCLUDING THOSE GENERATED FROM AN AUTOMATED TELEPHONE DIALING SYSTEM) AT THE TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED, INCLUDING ANY WIRELESS TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED.
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to (a) legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (except in the case of legal residents of certain states where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, who then must meet the state's legal age of majority); and (b) legal residents of Mexico who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of Entry. Notwithstanding the prior sentence, the Promotion is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law, rule or regulation. Officers, members, managers, and employees of Sponsor Entities (as defined below), members of these persons' immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Promotion. "Sponsor Entities" shall mean Sponsor, the National Football League ("NFL"), Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Facebook" and "Instagram"), Twitter, Inc. ("Twitter"), and their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliate companies, administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies involved with the Promotion, and any other person or entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Promotion. The NFL, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are not however, actual Sponsors of the Promotion.
WINNERS:There will be seven (7) total winners (the "Winners") selected at random from the pool of eligible Entrants who have completed the required Entry steps during the Promotion Periods. One (1) Winner will be selected after the First Promotion Period by a Drawing to be held on or about December 27, 2022, or as soon thereafter as possible in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor (the "First Drawing"). Five (5) Winners will be selected after the Second Promotion Period by a Drawing to be held on or about December 28, 2022, or as soon thereafter as possible in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor (the "Second Drawing"). One (1) Winner will be selected after the Third Promotion Period by a Drawing to be held on or about December 29, 2022, or as soon thereafter as possible in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor (the "Third Drawing"). The Winners will be recognized on the Steelers' website and/or social media platforms. Winning is subject to verification of eligibility.
PRIZES: There will be seven (7) Prizes awarded. The Winner of the First Drawing shall receive a Pittsburgh Steelers Terry Bradshaw jersey with an Immaculate Reception patch. The Winners of the Second Drawing shall each receive one (1) Immaculate Reception Terrible Towel. The Winner of the Third Drawing shall receive an autographed Pittsburgh Steelers Franco Harris jersey with an Immaculate Reception patch. The Winners selected and the actual Prizes awarded will be determined in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Terry Bradshaw jersey is $179.95. ARV of the Immaculate Reception Terrible Towel is $11.95. ARV of the autographed Franco Harris jersey is $300.00. Total ARV of the Prizes is $491.90.
NO TRANSFER OR ASSIGNMENT OF THE PRIZES: Exact Prize details shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. The Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemption except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prizes (or any portion thereof) with ones of comparable or greater value at its sole and absolute discretion. Actual value of the Prizes may vary based on the actual items awarded. The Winners will not receive the difference between actual value and ARV, if any. Odds of winning the Prizes depend upon the number of eligible Entries received during the Promotion Periods. The Winners are fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with the Winners' participation in the Promotion(s) and/or acceptance of the Prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winners unless otherwise provided in these Rules.
NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will notify the potential Winners via direct message on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or the email provided in the Entry. Sponsor will make no more than three (3) attempts to contact a potential Winner via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or the email provided in the Entry within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of the Drawing in which the potential Winner was selected. If Sponsor is unable to reach a potential Winner via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or the email provided in the Entry within such twenty-four (24) hour period, then that potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential Prize Winner's Entry may be drawn from all remaining eligible Entries at random. At the time of Sponsor's contact with the potential Winners, the potential Winners will be asked to provide his/her proof of age, address, and a government-issued photo ID. The notified eligible Winners shall be the only parties eligible to claim the Prizes.
If a Winner declines a Prize, fails to claim a Prize, is unavailable for Prize fulfillment, fails to abide by all the Rules, or is ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate Winner from all remaining eligible Entries. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential Winner.
PUBLICITY RELEASE: By submission of his or her Entry, an Entrant grants to Sponsor, and each of its designees, the right to use or publicize such Entrant's name, address (city and state of residence), voice, statements, photograph and/or other likeness (and as to the Entrant who wins, the right to use of the Prize information), for advertising, promotional, trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation, and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law.
RELEASE/WAIVER OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Promotion(s) and submitting an Entry and/or accepting a Prize, each Entrant and/or Winner expressly agrees to (i) be bound by these Rules, including all Entry requirements, and (ii) waive, release and discharge any and all claims against the Sponsor Entities and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Promotion(s), and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, arising out of or in any way related to the Promotion(s), these Rules, Entrant's Entry, negligence of any of the Released Parties, any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of the Prizes (or any portion thereof), or the acceptance, participation, use or misuse of the Prizes (or any portion thereof).
PRIVACY POLICY: Information collected by Sponsor in connection with the Promotion(s) will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy (http://www.steelers.com/legal/privacy-policy/) and these Rules. In the event of any discrepancy between Sponsor's Privacy Policy and these Rules, Sponsor's Privacy Policy shall control and govern.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, undelivered, or garbled Entries, interrupted or unavailable network or other connections; misdirected, blocked, or delayed notifications; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Rules, in any Promotion-related advertisements or other materials; or any other errors, problems or difficulties of any kind relating to or in connection with the Promotion(s), including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion(s), the processing of Entries, or the announcement of the Prizes in any Promotion-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion(s). Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants or to any person's computer, phone, tablet or other electronic device related to or resulting from participating in the Promotion(s). Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the Prizes, and (ii) disclaim any express or implied warranties. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of any such term. All disputes will be resolved under the internal substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles, and the laws of the United States. All disputes arising out of or with respect to the Promotion(s) or these Rules shall be heard exclusively in the courts, state and federal, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Promotion at any time. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify the Winners and award the Prizes by way of selecting Winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received up to the time of such cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these Rules for clarification purposes. Sponsor further reserves the right to revoke the Prizes or remove an Entrant or Prize Winner, at any time, if an Entrant or Prize Winner acts in a manner that is, in Sponsor's sole discretion, offensive, harassing, threatening, repugnant, or violent at any time in connection with the Promotion or Prizes.
WINNERS' NAMES/OFFICIAL RULES REQUEST: To obtain the names of the Winners or a copy of these Official Rules, mail a request and a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Steelers Nation Unite, Immaculate Reception, 358 North Shore Drive, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212. The Winners' names/Official Rules requests must be received by March 31, 2023.
FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM AND TWITTER RELEASE AND DISCLAIMER: Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter. The information you provide to Sponsor will only be used for Sponsor's promotional purposes. By entering the Promotion, each Entrant hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless Facebook, Instagram and Twitter completely from any liability in regard to the Promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion must be directed to Sponsor and not Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter.
