PRO (48-30/3-1): Acquired by the Steelers via trade with the 49ers (Steelers acquired McDonald and a 2018 fifth-round draft selection in exchange for a 2018 fourth-round draft choice) on August 29, 2017...placed on the 49ers’ Reserve/Injured List due to a shoulder injury on December 12, 2016...re-signed a five-year extension with the 49ers on December 9, 2016... placed on the 49ers’ Reserve/Injured List due to a back injury on December 9, 2014...originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round (55th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.
