PRO (25-6/3-0): Placed on the Steelers’ Reserve/Injured List due to a right foot injury on December 28, 2015…signed a Reserve/Future contract with the Steelers on January 9, 2015…released by the Atlanta Falcons on August 3, 2014…originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Falcons on May 12, 2014.

2016 (10-3/3-0): Recorded eight special teams tackles during the regular season (two, 12/11 at Buffalo and 1/1 vs. Cleveland, and one, 10/16 at Miami, 11/13 vs. Dallas, 11/20 at Cleveland and 12/18 at Cincinnati) and one during the postseason (AFC Championship Game 1/22 at New England)…inactive due to a back injury for the first five games.

        COLLEGE: Played in 49 games over his four-year career at Kent State (2010-13) and finished with 182 tackles, 65.0 TFLs, 24.0 sacks, 12 passes defensed, 12 forced fumbles and returned one fumble for a touchdown…became the first player in Kent State history and the fifth player in MAC history to earn first team all-conference honors in four seasons (2010-13)…his 65.0 TFLs are a school record and he ranks second in school history with 24.0 career sacks…in 2013, was named to the SI.com All-America Team and was selected to play in the Medal of Honor Bowl…named to Phil Steele’s postseason All-MAC First Team squad in 2012…in 2011, earned OhioCollegeFootball.com and All-Ohio First Team honors…in 2010, became the first freshman to be named MAC Defensive Player of the Year, while being named MAC Freshman of the Year…also earned first-team Freshman All-American recognition from The Sporting News, Rivals.com, Phil Steele, CollegeFootballNews.com and the Football Writers of America in 2010…majored in criminal justice.
