PRO (16-5/0-0): Signed a Reserve/Future contract with the Steelers on January 24, 2017…signed to the Steelers’ practice squad on December 13, 2016…released by the New England Patriots on September 13, 2016…signed to the Patriots’ practice squad September 6, 2016…released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 29, 2016…originally signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 1, 2016.

2017 (16-5/0-0): Was the only defensive back to produce 3.0 sacks in a single game in 2017 – only one other defensive back produced a multi-sack game this season (Eddie Pleasant, 11/5/17 vs. Indianapolis).

  • 9/10 vs. Cleveland: Made his NFL debut.
  • 9/17 vs. Minnesota: Made the first start of his NFL career and tied for the team lead in tackles with 8 (5 solo) and a quarterback hit.
  • 10/1 at Baltimore: Tallied the first sack and interception of his NFL career, a six-yard takedown of Baltimore QB Joe Flacco, in the third quarter, and picked off Flacco in the fourth quarter.

COLLEGE: Was a four-year letterman at Mississippi (2012-15)...played every position in the secondary…was a second-team All-SEC selection at safety as a senior in 2015, and was a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award…named the team’s Most Valuable Senior by the Jackson Touchdown Club...led the team with 71 tackles as a junior in 2014…majored in general studies.
