Rock Steelers Style co-captains are revealed

The Steelers will rock the runway on Friday, October 20, at the annual Rock Steelers Style fashion show. And they will be led on stage by this year's honorary co-captains for the event, Marcus Gilbert and Stephon Tuitt.

"I like dressing up and showing a different side of myself," said Gilbert. "I think that is why Mr. (Art) Rooney choose me as one of the captains. It's a tremendous honor. To be recognized as one of the guys who has swag on the team means a lot."

Greta and Art Rooney II and Kiya and Mike Tomlin will serve as event chairs, and this year's show focuses on 'Football, Family & Fun.'

Players will be modeling the latest fashions and showing off their personal style, while their wives will be sporting designs from Kiya Tomlin's Uptown Sweats 'Ready to Wear' line. In addition ballerinas from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater will be entertaining the crowd, as well as wearing custom designs from Tomlin.

While fashion is the focus on stage, there is a greater good to the show. The event is the team's largest fundraiser, and benefits the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and the Cancer Caring Center.

Tickets are still available for Rock Steelers Style, which will be held at Stage AE.
