Fired up for the home opener

The Steelers 2016 home opener is just two days away and the excitement can definitely be felt in the City of Pittsburgh, but nowhere more than in Market Square at the team's Kickoff Pep Rally on Friday at lunchtime.

Steelers Nation was decked out in their black and gold, waving their Terrible Towels as the Steeline Drumline and DJ Steve Maffei Jr. fired them up.

Steelers Kickoff posters were given to all fans in attendance, and giveaways were plentiful. But the main attraction is still to come when the Steelers player the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field on Sunday.

"I came all of the way from the West Coast to see the home opener," said Joe Mecca from Fontana, California. "I hope it's like it was last year against the 49ers."
