haun Sarrett was promoted to offensive line coach on January 14, 2019, after serving the previous season as the Steelers' assistant offensive line coach. Sarrett joined the Steelers in 2012 and spent six years as an offensive assistant, primarily helping coach the offensive line, and assisting the offensive coaching staff with game preparation, video analysis and the scouting of opponents.

Since 2016, the Steelers' offensive line is the only in the NFL to have held opponents to the fifth or fewest sacks allowed in each of the previous seasons, yielding 21 in 2016 (2nd), 24 in 2017 (T-3rd) and 24 in 2018 (4th). Only one other team has allowed fewer than the Steelers' 69 sacks over the three-year span.
