Marcel Pastoor is in his third season as the Steelers' Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and his 23rd overall season with the team.
He spent 17 seasons as the team's strength and conditioning assistant coach prior to his promotion in 2021.
Pastoor received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in exercise physiology and kinesiology in 2000. He completed his master's from the University of Pittsburgh in exercise physiology, graduating with honors in 2003.
Prior to joining the Steelers, Pastoor interned with the Washington Commanders in 1998 and was the volunteer assistant strength coach for Radford University from 1999-2001.
Pastoor and his wife Cayce have a daughter, Catelyn Ann, and a son, Carter Matthew.
