Tickets are now on sale at www.ticketmaster.com for the second annual Pittsburgh Steelers Family Fest taking place on Sunday August 19th at Heinz Field from 5:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m.
Come early and pick your seat for the full team practice. Steelers Legends Larry Brown, Jon Kolb, Chris Hoke, Shaun Suisham, Mike Logan and Louis Lipps will be available from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm for a Meet and Greet photo opportunity. The entire 2018 team will be introduced out of the player tunnel before things heat up on the field for a night chalked full of entertainment. Upon entry, all fans receive a 1st-IN-GOAL scratch-off card. You could win sideline passes to watch your favorites up close on the field, or walk away with a signed Steelers practice jersey from any one of the players on the team. Steelers Alumni Tunch Ilkin, and Craig Wolfley will describe the action inside the Ford truck display on the visiting side of the field.
This year’s Steelers Family Fest will feature Nickelodeon, kicking off a summer celebration of play, bringing worldwide day of play events to cities across the country. Nick will provide fun filled events that will feature Nick themed games including a Super Slime obstacle course, Nick Bowling, a slime booth, costume characters and more. Other activities include a Zipline fan experience, Game Faces Face Painting, Steely McBeam and much more, all starting at 3 pm on Art Rooney Avenue and continuing inside the FedEx Great Hall, the Ford Fanzone, and the West Concourse.
The evening will also include Bill Camp’s Famous Flying Dogs, on-field performances by the Steeline Drumline culminating with a lucky fan winning a trip for 4 to the Super Bowl and a Sunday night Fireworks display.
In addition to the full team on field practice, the Family Fest offers unique opportunities including a photo next to all six Lombardi Trophies in the FedEx Great Hall, meet Steelers Alumni in the Ford Fanzone, and be part of an iconic Championship moment photo opportunity that puts you right in the middle of the action.
A 50/50 raffle will be held to benefit Youth Football.
Prior to the player introductions, a Parade of Champions march with Special Olympics Athletes, First Responders, and members of the military will take place on the field.
Steelers Nation Unite will be recognizing a group of winners from this year’s second annual SNU Fan Awards, which honor some of the top fans from around Steelers Nation. The winners will be recognized on the field and on the scoreboard prior to the start of practice. Members will also have a chance to score on-field experiences throughout the night.
