The Steelers' 2014 record-breaking season will be recognized in a special display in the FedEx Great Hall at Heinz Field starting on May 2. The display will highlight Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brownand Le'Veon Bellfor their record-setting performances in 2014.
Roethlisberger's setup will include his game-worn jersey and a game ball from the November 2 contest vs. the Baltimore Ravens. In that game, Roethlisberger threw six touchdown passes, setting an NFL record for the most passing touchdowns in a two-game span.
Roethlisberger's game-worn jersey that he donned a week prior vs. the Indianapolis Colts will also be on display. Roethlisberger set three single-game team records in that contest, passing yards (522), passing touchdowns (6) and completions (40).
Brown's game-worn cleats and receiving gloves, and a game-used football from the Steelers' regular-season finale vs. the Cincinnati Bengals will be on display. In that game, Brown set the single-season team record for receptions (129), receiving yards (1,698) and receiving touchdowns (13).
Bell's game-worn jersey and cleats, and a game-used football from Pittsburgh's December 7 game at the Atlanta Falcons will be on display. During that game, Bell set the single-season team record for scrimmage yards (2,215) and single-season receiving yards by a running back (854).
The display, created by the Heinz History Center in conjunction with the Steelers, will also make stops at Saint Vincent College for Steelers' training camp and the History Center before returning to Heinz Field for the Steelers' regular-season home opener on Sept. 20 vs. San Francisco.
