Steelers fan and alumni involvement surrounding the 2015 NFL Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have a highlighted fan and alumni presence surrounding the three-day 2015 NFL Draft, which begins this evening at 8 p.m. from the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago.

During Round One of the 2015 NFL Draft Alicen Yonts, of Penn Yan, N.Y., will present a Steelers jersey to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on stage in the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago. The jersey will then be presented to the Steelers' first round pick.

Yonts won the team's 2015 NFL Draft Experience Sweepstakes which was open for entry exclusively to members of Steelers Nation Unite.

On Day Two of the NFL Draft, Steelers Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Mel Blount will announce the team's second round selection live on stage from the 2015 Draft in Chicago. This will mark the fifth year in which each selection in the second round is announced by a former player. Blount joins Terry Hanratty (2014), Merril Hoge (2013), Dermontti Dawson (2012) and Franco Harris (2011) as previous Steelers' alumni to make the team's announcement live from the site of the NFL draft.

On Day Three of the NFL Draft, Steelers fans can participate in Draft Day festivities at the 2015 Steelers Fan Blitz, presented by Xfinity. Steelers Fan Blitz will be held from Noon – 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Heinz Field and will feature a number of fun-filled events, prize giveaways and a chance for fans to meet the Steelers' draft picks as well as some of their favorite current and former Steelers. Additionally, a member of Steelers Nation Unite who "Checks In" at Fan Blitz will be chosen on site to announce a 2015 Steelers' draft pick live on NFL Network from Heinz Field. Fans can join Steelers Nation Unite for free by visiting www.steelersnationunite.com and for more information.

Fans wanting to demonstrate that they bleed "Black and Gold" can make a life-saving blood donation in the North Club Lounge at the Central Blood Bank. Fans who pre-register for the drive (www.centralbloodbank.org/steelers-2015) will receive free admission into Fan Blitz.

Tickets are on sale at the Steelers Sideline Stores at the Westmoreland Mall, South Hills Village, Pittsburgh Mills and the Premium Outlets at Grove City as well as www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event at the Steelers Ticket Office at Gate B at 11 a.m.
