Roosevelt Nix placed on Reserve/Injured List

The Steelers have placed fullback Roosevelt Nixon the team's Reserve/Injured List, it was announced today.

Nix injured his right foot in the third quarter of the team's Week 16 game at Baltimore. A first-year player, Nix had played 15 games this season with three starts. He totaled eight tackles and one forced fumble on special teams.

The Steelers promoted linebacker L.J. Fortto the team's active roster. Fort has been on the team's practice squad for the entire 2015 season. He has played in 17 career games (16 with Cleveland in 2012 and one with Seattle in 2014). Fort's career numbers include 13 tackles, one sack, one interception and five special teams tackles.
