George Messich, Mapletown High School
Coach George Messich led his Maples to a 64-17 win over West Greene putting an exclamation point on their first undefeated season since 1968. Mapletown had a big night with almost 400 yards rushing and five rushing touchdowns. The Maples finished the regular season 10-0 while averaging 46.5 points per game.
