Steelers Coach of the Week - Week 1
Dan Knause, Chartiers Valley High School
In a big Parkway Conference upset, Coach Dan Knause and the Colts upset the No. 3-ranked Montour Spartans, 34-7. The Colts offense was able to establish the run for most of the game, with two players each gaining over 100 yards rushing in the game. This is Coach Knause's fourth season as head coach at Chartiers Valley, and the Colts just moved from Class 5A to Class 4A in 2020, and they are off to a great start!
