Coach of the Week - Week 8
Jacque DeMatteo, Hampton High School
Coach DeMatteo led his Hampton Talbots to a 9-0 record and the Greater Allegheny Conference title with a 30-0 win over Knoch. But more impressive than their shutout victory on Friday night, was when they cancelled their Saturday meetings and helped clean up neighborhoods following a tornado and storms on that hit Hampton on Thursday night. Players and coaches showed up and helped at least ten families clean up driveways, yards, and trees over several hours on Saturday. Coach DeMatteo is in his 14th season leading the Talbots to do great things on and off the field.
