Getting To Know: Justin Hunter

Justin Hunter Wide Receiver Tennessee 5th Season Who is your football mentor or inspiration?I have a few of them. I would say Nate Washington and Kendall Wright. I have been with them for two or three years at Tennessee. They have always been helpful with me in life and in football.

What motivates you? My kids motivate me. Wanting to work hard motives me. I love football so I love getting up every day and coming to work, getting ready to get out there and play. What is your approach to football? ** Always wanting to win. I have always been a really competitive person, so wanting to win.

Why do you play football?It was always fun for me. When I was younger I started playing with the kids in the neighborhood. I started playing touch football then ended up playing organized football and I loved it. When did you start to dream about playing in the NFL?When I was in middle school. My friends and I always started playing video games, we started watching games more then. Our older brothers were playing, so we were always around it. It came to the point where I could make it.* What is your proudest football moment or memory? Getting drafted. Hearing my name being called the day I was drafted and knowing I made it into the NFL. When you hear Steelers, what do you think? It speaks for itself. The Steelers are smash-mouth, grind type of football. What is something people would be surprised to know about you? *I seem very laid back, but I am really goofy at times. I work hard, and always push through it.
