Do you offer disabled parking?

Alco Parking handles all the parking lots around the stadium. They do have limited spots for handicap parking. It is in Gold Lot 1, on a first come, first served basis. The lot opens 5 hours prior to the game, so it does fill up rather quickly. The guest must have a handicap placard and ID in order to park in the lot. It is $35.00 to park. Where are your designated drop-off areas located?

We have 2 accessible drop-off points around the stadium. One is located at the corner of Art Rooney Avenue and Reedsdale Street near Gate B. The other is located right after our Press Gate Entrance, along North Shore Drive, directly across from the Carnegie Science Center. Both drop-off areas are staffed with employees who will be able to assist you. No prior arrangements are necessary. This is a service we provide and it is always in use. Do you offer bus parking?

Bus parking is located in the CCAC Lot on Monument Hill at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Brighton Road. For more information, please call Glenn Porter at 412-231-5746.



Entrance Into the Stadium

How early can I get into the stadium?

The gates to the stadium open two (2) hours prior to kick-off for both Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh games.

Am I permitted to bring food into Heinz Field?

Yes. Food items such as small sandwiches, chips, pretzels, etc. are permitted in as long as they are in clear Ziploc plastic bags. No brown bags or plastic grocery store bags are permitted. You may also bring water, juice, pop, etc. as long as it is in a plastic bottle, 24 oz. or less and must have its original factory seal.

Am I permitted to bring in my medical needs?

Yes. Any medical related items are permitted inside the stadium. They will be searched by security before permitted in.

Am I permitted to bring in a Diaper Bag?

Yes. As long as the child is present, the items in the bag will be searched by security and then permitted inside the stadium.

What are your restrictions on cameras?

Cameras (still only) are permitted inside Heinz Field as long as their use does not interfere with the game or other guests' enjoyment of the game. Professional Cameras/Lenses (longer than 6 inches) are NOT permitted. Camera bags are permitted, but must meet our bag requirement of 8 1/2 x 11 or smaller. Video cameras and video recording of events at Heinz Field is prohibited.



Once Inside the Stadium...

What does your P.R.I.D.E. booth offer and where is it located?

P.R.I.D.E. is Heinz Field's Fan Code of Conduct Initiative. The program has been designed to set fan behavior guidelines and to encourage all of our fans to enjoy the game with P.R.I.D.E.

Fans also have the opportunity to pledge to be a great fan for both Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh games. There is a P.R.I.D.E. tent set up on the west side of the South Plaza. When a fan signs up, he/she is pledging to be a great fan and exemplify the elements of P.R.I.D.E. Each fan who signs up receives a P.R.I.D.E. button and 3x5 card. When a guest signs up, they are also entering their name for a prize giveaway. The winners are announced during the 2nd break of the 1st quarter.

Does Heinz Field offer a Designated Driver Program?

Yes. The designated driver booths, sponsored by Aramark and Anheuser Busch are located at all three (3) main gates; Gates A, B, and C. The booths are open until the end of the 1st quarter. Registrants must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license. In return for the promising responsibility for the safe and sober transportation of their group from Heinz Field, a registrant will receive one coupon redeemable for a soft drink. All registrants receive a "Designated Driver" paper wristband. Each registrant is also entered into a prize giveaway. Winners are announced at the end of the 3rd quarter.

What if I left something in my car? Can I leave and then get back into the stadium?

Exit and re-entry is not permitted at Heinz Field. In case of a medical emergency, please proceed to the Guest Services Kiosk, located inside Gate B.

Who do I contact if I lost an item at the stadium?

During events, lost and found items left in the seating bowl will be brought to the Main Guest Services Room, behind Section 104 in the Coca-Cola Great Hall. After events, lost and found items will be transferred to the Main Security Office. Guests may call (412) 697-7135 Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to claim their lost items. Please note lost and found items from previous events will not be available for pick up on event days.

Do you have Family restrooms inside your facility?

Yes, we have family restrooms all throughout the stadium on every level. They are located behind sections 105, 124, 141, 205, 240, 505, 522, 529, and behind North Club sections 4 and 12.

What is Kids Connection and how can I sign my child up?

Kids Connection was designed for parents/guardians bringing children to a Pittsburgh Steelers or University of Pittsburgh game at Heinz Field. In the event the child becomes separated from the parent/guardian, identifying wristbands aid in the reuniting process. You can sign up for Kids Connection by visiting the Main Guest Services Room behind Section 104 in the Coca-Cola Great Hall.

Where am I permitted to smoke in the Stadium?

Heinz Field is a smoke-free facility. In consideration of the comfort of all ticket holders, we ask your cooperation. There are NO designated smoking areas inside the stadium, and re-entry is prohibited. Guests who fail to comply with the policy after appropriate warning may be subject to ejection from Heinz Field. All season ticket holders and event patrons are responsible for whoever utilizes their tickets and occupies that particular seat for any event held at Heinz Field.



Guests with Disabilities

How can I exchange my tickets for handicap accessible seats?

You can go to any guest services kiosk or guest services room. Kiosks are located inside all gates. Guest Services Rooms are located behind section 104, 123, 504, and 528. All exchanges must be done the day of the event.

Once I am inside the stadium, if I need assistance to my seat, what should I do?

Our guest services staff can meet guests at the drop-off locations and take them to their seat via wheelchair. We have wheelchairs available to escort guests from point A to point B. No prior arrangements are necessary. This is a service we provide and it is always in use.

You can go to any guest services kiosk or guest services room. Kiosks are located inside all gates. Guest Services Rooms are located behind sections 104, 123, 504, and 528. The kiosks and the guest services rooms are never left unattended. We can provide directions to your seat, escort someone to their seat via wheelchair, and help with any questions one might have.

We also have 2 courtesy golf cart shuttles. One sits inside of Gate C and one sits inside of Gate B. They run up and down the ramps pre-game only until the ramps are too crowded for them to travel on. They do not run after the games, because of egress. However, we do provide post-game wheelchair escorts as well.

In Game Emergencies

If I see a medical emergency or inappropriate fan behavior, who can I contact immediately?

You can text the message PITT33 to the number 78247 to report Fan Behavior or First Aid Emergencies. A guest services attendant will promptly respond to assist you. You can also call our Fan Hotline at 412-697-7766 or tell the nearest usher, security guard, or city police officer.

What if I need medical assistance while attending a game?

Heinz Field has five (5) first aid rooms located throughout the building. They are located behind Sections 103, 123, 517, 541, and in between the East and West Club Lounges, closer to the east side of the stadium. All first aid rooms are staffed with City of Pittsburgh Medics.



Ticket Questions

Does my child need a ticket to enter Heinz Field?

Steelers Games: Yes. All children, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter.

Pitt Games: If your child is older then 2 years of age, then they must have a ticket. If your child is under the age of 2, no ticket is necessary.

Are there tickets available to purchase for Steelers games?

The only way to acquire tickets for a home game at Heinz Field is through a reliable source such as the NFL Ticket Exchange program. Our season ticket holders post their tickets online that they are not using for a game giving other fans the opportunity to purchase tickets directly from our season ticket holders.

Are there tickets available to purchase for University of Pittsburgh games?

Yes. To purchase tickets for a University of Pittsburgh game you must contact the Pitt ticket office at 412-648-7488 or click here.



Club and Suites Questions

Where are your escalators located?

Escalators are located inside of all gates, A, B, and C. However, the escalators inside of Gate C only transport guests to the Hyundai West Club Lounge, Sections 229-240.

Where are your escalators located for North, East, & Hyundai West Club Lounge ticket holders?

They are located inside Gate B as well as Gate C.

I have tickets for the game in the club, what does this include? (Is there free food and drink?)

Club tickets allow guest's access to the climate-controlled Club Lounges on the East or West Side of the stadium. Food and Beverage are not included, but can be purchased on these levels. Guests possessing a North Club ticket do not have access into the East Club or Hyundai West Club Lounges. Guests possessing an East Club or Hyundai West Club ticket do not have access into the North Club Lounge.

Where are the elevators located? Am I able to use them?

Elevators are reserved for suite ticket holders, properly credentialed staff/guests, and guests with disabilities. Guests with disabilities are permitted to ride the elevator both before and after the game with one (1) companion. Elevators are located inside the Press Gate along North Shore Drive, inside Suite Entry B, and inside Suite Entry C.



Food Questions

Are there food selections fit for children?

Yes. Kid Friendly Items are located at the concession stands near Sections 108, 119, 511, and 535. Items offered are 1/8 hot dogs, 46 oz. popcorn, 12 oz. soda, and assorted ice cream novelties.

Do you offer gluten free items at Heinz Field?

Yes. Items such as the following are all gluten free: Nachos Grande, Peanuts, BBQ, Hot, and Medium Wings, Chicken Breast (no bun), Super Dog w/Chili (no bun), Cheese and Sauerkraut, Smoked Sausage (no bun), Footlong Hot Dog (no bun), Super Dog (no bun).

Do you have vegetarian options at Heinz Field?

Yes, all veggie dogs are located at the portable concession stands near Sections 139, 516, 537, next to Pub 33 in the Coca-Cola Great Hall, and on the Upper Level North closest to the east side of the building.

Where can I send comments about my Game Day Experience at Heinz Field?

If you would like to comment on your game day experience at Heinz Field or have any other questions, you can submit comments in-game by going to any of our Guest Services Rooms (Behind Section, 104, 123, 504, 528) or by e-mailing GuestServices-PIT@steelers.nfl.com

Am I able to put someone's name on the video board for their birthday?

Yes. The Monday morning before the home game, beginning at 9 am, call 412-697-7600. Simply leave the name of the birthday male/female and a contact phone number. Only full names will be accepted (no nicknames please). There is no fee for the messages. We are only able to accept the first 25 calls. Names are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Dean's Dairy and the Steelers have partnered for the birthday promotion. Dean's is the official Dairy of the Pittsburgh Steelers. This service is only offered for Pittsburgh Steelers games.
