  • 9/11 at Baltimore: Tied his career high with five tackles…left the game in the third quarter with a right shoulder injury and did not return.
  • 9/21 at Carolina: Recorded his first sack of the season and first since December 30, 2012 vs. Cleveland…marked his fourth career sack. 
  • 10/12 at Cleveland: Left the game at halftime with a right shoulder injury and did not return.  

2013 (14-10): Played in 14 games with 10 starts…inactive 11/28 at Baltimore and 12/15 vs. Cincinnati due to an ankle injury.

  • 9/8 vs. Tennessee: Tied his career high with five tackles.
  • 9/29 vs. Minnesota (London): Recorded his first career pass breakup.
  • 10/20 vs. Baltimore: Tackled RB Bernard Pierce for a loss of one yard on third-and-one, forcing the Ravens to settle for a field goal in the first quarter…tied for the lead in tackles (3) for the defensive line.
  • 10/27 at Oakland: Tied his career high with five tackles.
  • 11/17 vs. Detroit: Forced his second career fumble on Detroit’s fake field goal attempt in the fourth quarter that was recovered by S Ryan Clark.
  • 11/24 at Cleveland: Left the game with an ankle injury late in the first quarter and did not return.
  • 12/8 vs. Miami: Had a season-high two QB pressures. 

2012 (16-0): Steve McLendon saw action at NT and on special teams in all 16 games…set a career high with two sacks…was part of a defense that finished second in the NFL in fewest rushing yards allowed per game (90.6)…10/7 vs. Philadelphia: Recorded his first sack of the season on QB Michael Vick and it marked the second of his career…forced his first career fumble on the sack…11/4 at N.Y. Giants: Had one QB pressure…11/12 vs. Kansas City: Played in his 30th career game…11/25 at Cleveland: Stopped RB Trent Richardson for a three-yard loss midway through the second quarter for his only tackle of the contest…12/23 vs. Cincinnati: Recorded a half-sack of QB Andy Dalton to give him a career-high 1.5 sacks on the season…12/30 vs. Cleveland: Registered a half-sack on QB Thad Lewis, giving him a career-high two sacks on the season.

2011 (14-1/1-0): Saw action in 14 games on the defensive line and on special teams with one start at NT…saw increased action at NT in place of injured NT Casey Hampton in the lone postseason contest…had 11 tackles and one sack in the regular season, and had four tackles in the Wild Card Game at Denver…9/18 vs. Seattle: Recorded his first career half-sack with LB LaMarr Woodley…added one QB pressure…was part of a defense that held the Seahawks to 164 total yards…10/16 vs. Jacksonville: Saw action at NT…had two tackles…was part of a defense that held the Jaguars to 209 total yards…10/23 at Arizona: Started his first career game at NT…had a career-high five tackles and one QB pressure…was part of a defense that held the Cardinals to 73 yards rushing…12/8 vs. Cleveland: Saw action at NT…had two tackles…recorded a half-sack for minus-2.5 yards…was part of a defense that held the Browns to three points…AFC Wild Card Game 1/8 at Denver: Saw increased action at NT in place of the injured Hampton…had four tackles and one QB pressure.   

2010 (7-0): Saw action on the defensive line and on special teams for seven regular-season contests...finished with two tackles and one fumble recovery...missed two games because of a stinger...was inactive for all three postseason contests...9/19 at Tennessee: Played in his first career game on the defensive line...was added to the active roster the day before the game to provide depth on the defensive line...had his first career tackle...recovered his first career fumble...was part of a defense that limited the Titans to only 46 rushing yards and forced six Tennessee turnovers...10/3 vs. Baltimore: Signed to the active roster on 10/2 to provide depth on the defensive line...did not have any tackles...10/17 vs. Cleveland: Signed to practice squad on 10/11 after being released on 10/7...10/31 at New Orleans: Signed to the active roster from the practice squad on 10/30...saw action on the defensive line and on special teams...11/21 vs. Oakland: Recorded one tackle and one QB pressure...was part of a defense that held the Raiders to 61 yards rushing...was inactive due to a neck injury for the next three games...was inactive for the final two regular-season games and all three postseason contests.

2009 (0-0): Spent time on the Steelers’ practice squad.
