COLLEGE: Top wide receiver and two-time National Champion at perennial powerhouse Alabama…one of the nation’s top all-purpose athletes coming out of college...53 career games and 34 starts  2011: Voted second-team All-SEC wide receiver and return specialist by the league coaches…two 100-yard receiving games on the season…third in the league and 10th nationally in punt returns with a 12.39 average…four-time coaches' Special Teams Player of the Week and an Offensive Player of the Week after Vanderbilt and Tennessee…accounted for at least 100 all-purpose yards in six games…etched his name in the UA record books with a game-high tying eight punt returns and also had a career-high 118 receiving yards on a career-high eight receptions against Kent State…led all Alabama receivers with four catches for 42 yards against Penn State…returned his first career punt for a touchdown on an 83-yard return and finished with 125 punt return yards on four returns and finished with 165 yards of total offense against Arkansas…totaled 159 all-purpose yards to earn Special Teams Player of the Week honors from the Alabama coaches against Florida… registered 52 all-purpose yards in 21-0 victory over LSU in the BCS National Championship Game. 2010: Played in all 13 games and made seven starts…finished with 38 receptions for 557 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 14.7 yards per catch…named the SEC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week and was honored by the coaching staff as he totaled 168 yards of total offense and returned six punts for 125 yards against Mississippi…amassed 166 yards of total offense and caught five passes for 89 yards against Mississippi State…had a team-best four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown against Michigan State. 2009: Made 11 starts while seeing action in all 14 games in 2009...finished with 31 catches for 523 yards and two touchdowns...the 523 yards ranked second on the team while the 31 catches were third...averaged a team-best 16.9 yards per catch…hauled in five passes for a then career-best 96 yards and all five receptions went for first downs, including a long of 34 yards against Florida…caught one pass for four yards in the Crimson Tide's 37-21 victory over Texas in the Citi BCS National Championship Game. 2008: Played in all 14 games…had 11 catches on the year for 137 yards and two touchdowns...averaged 12.5 yards per catch…made first career start in season-opener vs. Clemson…snagged his first career touchdown on a 26-yard pass against Mississippi…hauled in second touchdown of the season in win over Auburn. 2007: Redshirted.

PERSONAL: Attended Tarrant High School (AL)…versatile athlete played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive backs, while also returning punts and kicks…amassed over 3,000 all-purpose yards and over 30 touchdowns in his final two prep seasons…also played basketball and started at guard…has one son, Marquis Maze II…son of Chevis Maze and Marquis Tillman…Full Name: Marquis Tyran Maze.
