2012 (15-7): Wide Receiver Lance Moore saw action in 15 games with seven starts…inactive 10/7 vs. San Diego due to a hamstring injury…recorded 65 receptions for a career-high 1,041 yards with six receiving touchdowns…marked his first career 1,000-yard receiving season…totaled four 100-yard receiving games, a career-high for a single season…in all four of those contests, he registered 120 or more receiving yards…ranked first on the team with a 16.0 yards per catch average…along with Marques Colston, became just the second duo in team history to each record 1,000 receiving yards in a single season.

COLLEGE: Wide Receiver Lance Moore saw action in 50 games…named first-team All-MAC in 2003 and 2004…finished career with 4,146 all-purpose yards and set school records with 222 receptions for 2,776 yards with 25 receiving touchdowns…added 42 kickoff returns for 902 yards and 399 yards and two touchdowns on punt returns…is the only player in school history to gain more than 1,000 receiving yards twice…set a school record with 14 receiving touchdowns as a senior…majored in business.  

PERSONAL: Wide Receiver Lance Moore attended Westerville South High School (Westerville, Ohio)…set state high school records for receptions (103) and touchdown receptions (24) as a senior…inducted into the University of Toledo’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011…brother, Nick, also played wide receiver at Toledo and currently plays for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, and also spent time with the CFL’s British Columbia Lions, the Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots and St. Louis Rams…has partnered with the United Way and several of his past Saints teammates to have several homes in New Orleans built for families in need…has hosted charity softball events in recent years to benefit his foundation, and in 2013 participated with his teammates in a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway at the Dryades YMCA and a team Christmas bike and toy giveaway with the Marines at the Saints’ practice facility…has participated in the Saints’ “Random Acts of Kindness” tour, handing out gift cards and prizes at Chevron, Verizon, McDonalds and local schools…Full name: Lance Andrew Moore.
