COLLEGE: Howard Jones started all 48 games of his collegiate career...finished as the school’s all-time leader in sacks (35.0) and TFLs (69.5)…led the team in TFLs each of his four seasons…recorded 139 tackles (106 solo), eight forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, three pass breakups, one interception and four blocked kicks…majored in business. 2013: Started all 12 games…tallied 35 tackles (21 solo), a team-high 12.5 TFLs, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery, which he returned 25 yards for a touchdown…earned All-America first-team honors from the NFL Draft Report and was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award (small college defensive player of the year)…named first-team All-MEC…garnered BSN third-team All-American and second-team Daktronics All-Region honors. 2012: Started all 11 games…registered 34 tackles (28 solo), a team-best 15.5 TFLs, nine sacks and one forced fumble…named third-team All-Region by Don Hansen’s Football Gazette. 2011: Started all 11 games…recorded 31 tackles (28 solo), a team-leading 23.5 TFLs, 12.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception and two blocked kicks…his 2.14 average TFLs per game ranked third in NCAA II and his 1.09 average sacks per game tied for fifth…named first-team All-WVIAC…earned first-team BSN All-American honors and selected second-team All-Region by Daktronics and Don Hansen’s Football Gazette. 2010: Started all 14 games…made 39 tackles (29 solo), a team-high 18.0 TFLs, six sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two passes defensed and two blocked kicks…selected second-team All-WVIAC. 2009: Did not participate. 2008: Redshirted as a true freshman.
