2012 (16-0): Punted in all 16 games…suffered a hip injury in the preseason but did not miss any action in the regular season…recorded a gross punting average of 42.0 and a net punting average of 39.4, which was the second-best total in Bears’ history for a single season…helped the punt coverage unit set a franchise record for lowest punt return average by an opponent in a single season, 3.4 yards per return…that figure was also an NFL best in 2012…landed 34 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, which was a career high and was fourth-best in the NFL…ran in a fake extra point for a two-point conversion 12/9 at Minnesota…added one special teams tackle (one, 11/4 at Tennessee).
2011 (16-0): Punted in all 16 games…set the Bears’ franchise record with a 40.4 net punting average, which was good for sixth in the NFL…set career highs in punts (89), punting yards (3,903) and gross punting average (43.9)…landed 21 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line…forced 27 fair catches, which was tied for the third-most in the NFL…helped the Bears’ coverage unit allow the second-lowest yards per return average by opponents in the NFL (5.4)…added two special teams tackles (one, 12/4 vs. Kansas City and 12/18 vs. Seattle).
2010 (16-0): Punted in all 16 contests…at the time, set the Jaguars’ single-season team record with a 39.2 net punting average…that total was also tied for fourth in the NFL…also allowed an NFL-low 19 punt returns, which were also the fewest in Jaguars history for an opponent in a single season…added 26 punts downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.
2009 (16-0): Punted in all 16 games…registered a 41.9 gross punting average and a 38.3 net punting average…also landed 23 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line…at the time, his 38.3 net punting average was the fourth-best mark in a single season in Jaguars’ history.
2008 (11-0): Punted in 11 games before suffering a knee injury 11/23 vs. Minnesota…placed on the Jaguars’ Reserve/Injured List on November 25 with a knee injury and missed the remainder of the season…recorded a 43.2 gross punting average and a 36.6 net punting average…landed 12 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line…added five special teams tackles (two, 9/14 vs. Buffalo, and one, 9/28 vs. Houston, 10/12 at Denver and 10/26 vs. Cleveland).
2007 (16-0/2-0): Played in all 16 games and both postseason contests as a rookie…recorded 54 punts for a 41.6 gross punting average and a 36.9 net punting average in the regular season…had a career-long 76-yard punt 10/28 at Tampa Bay…recorded a 41.6 net punting average in the postseason on five punts.

PERSONAL: Attended Pittsford Sutherland High School (Pittsford, N.Y.)…was a three-year letterman in football as a punter, fullback and linebacker…named first-team all-state as a scholar athlete by the New York Coaches’ Association and earned all-region honors from Super Prep…earned first-team all-state honors as a senior punter from the New York State Writers Association, and selected first team All-Greater Rochester by the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle and first team All-Monroe County as a senior…averaged 40.7 yards per punt his senior season…competed in track, posting the fastest 200-meter (21.58) and 400-meter times (50.5) in the state as a junior…was inducted into the Rochester Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in June of 2008…son of Jack and Jean Podlesh.
