COLLEGE: Started for two years at linebacker for the Tigers, finishing his career with 184 total tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks...in two years as a starter, LSU's defense ranked No. 12 nationally in total defense (307.2 ypg in 2010) and No. 2 (261.5 ypg in 2011)...played in 50 games with 25 starts...earned second-team All-SEC honors as a senior in 2011. 2011: Played and started in 13 of LSU's 14 games...ranked fourth on team with 64 tackles…added 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks…helped anchor an LSU defense that ranked among the top 10 in the nation in rushing yards (No. 5 at 90.07), total defense (No. 2 at 261.5), scoring defense (No. 2 at 11.29), and pass defense (No. 8 at 171.43)...had season-high nine tackles in win over Western Kentucky...had four tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack for a 5-yard loss in win over Arkansas...had eight tackles in overtime win over Alabama...added three tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in road win over Mississippi State. 2010: Played and started 12 games at Will linebacker...missed the season-opener against North Carolina after suffering a broken jaw during August camp...returned to action the following week against Vanderbilt and played with his jaw wired shut for the first month of the season…second on the team and 12th in the SEC in total tackles with 87...led the Tigers and ranked sixth in the SEC with 7.0 sacks for 60-yards in losses...added 11.0 tackles totaling 83 yards in losses...led team in tackles in three games - 10 vs. Mississippi State, 12 vs. Auburn and 10 vs. Alabama...the 12 tackles vs. Auburn marked a career-best and included nine solo stops and a forced fumble...added 1.5 sacks for 13-yards in losses to go with the 10 tackles in win over Alabama...in first action of year, had six tackles, 3.0 tackles for 28-yards in losses and one sack for a 9-yard loss in win over Vanderbilt...contributed at least one tackle for a loss in eight of 12 games...had two sacks and nine total tackles in win over McNeese State...had one 12-yard sack against Tennessee...tallied eight tackles including one tackle for loss and a pass breakup against West Virginia. 2009: Backup linebacker who was a standout on special teams for the second straight year...played in 12 games...finished with 17 tackles and one sack for an 8-yard loss...11 of his 17 tackles came on special teams...had a season-high four special teams tackles in win over Tulane...finished Tulane contest with a career-high six tackles...sack came in win over Auburn...had two tackles vs. Mississippi State and Auburn...broke up a pass vs. UL-Lafayette. 2008: Played in all 13 games with no starts in his first year with the Tigers...saw action on special teams in all 13 games...finished the year with 16 tackles, seven of which were solo stops... had four special teams tackles in first game of career vs. Appalachian State...had three special teams tackles against Arkansas in regular-season finale.

 PERSONAL: Attended Blountstown High School (Fla.)…one of the top prep linebackers in the nation...named to the Rivals.com Top 100 players in 2008...named All-America by SuperPrep...ranked as the No. 6 outside linebacker in the nation by Rivals.com with a four-star rating...member of the Atlanta Journal Constitution Super Southern 100 and a first team selection to the Tallahassee Democrat's All Big-Bend team...earned Class 2B all-state team honors as both a senior and a junior...named a finalist for Class 2B Mr. Football in the state of Florida as a junior...had 139 tackles as a senior...registered 139 tackles (22.5 for losses) and 8.5 sacks his junior year...also added 974 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns…son of Terry and Lynn Baker…Full name: Ryan Michael Baker.
