PRO (38-23/5-3): Signed a one-year contract extension with the Steelers on January 22, 2016…signed with the Steelers on September 5, 2015…released by the Buffalo Bills on August 31, 2015…originally drafted by the Bills in the fourth round (109th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.
2016 (16-16/3-3):
- 9/18 at Cincinnati: Helped limited WR A.J. Green to just two receptions for 38 yards.
- 10/2 vs. Kansas City: Recovered a fumble that was forced by DE Stephon Tuitt in the first quarter…marked his second career fumble recovery.
- 10/9 vs. N.Y. Jets: Totaled a single-game career high three pass breakups.

COLLEGE: Attended Duke from 2009-13 starting all 49 games played…totaled 233 tackles, 7.0 TFLs, 2.0 sacks, 12 interceptions and 42 pass breakups...was a three-time Academic All-ACC selection (2011-13) and was an Academic All-ACC honoree in 2010…named first-team All-ACC twice (2012-13)…named honorable mention All-America by Sports Illustrated in 2012…also in 2012, recorded a school-record 75-yard blocked field goal return for a touchdown…graduated in May of 2013 with a degree in political science while also earning a certificate in markets and management studies…did graduate work in political science.
