Garvin suffered a knee sprain against the Packers, not as severe an injury as initially thought.
“We’ll see how much he is able to participate,” said Tomlin. “Probably a little bit better than we anticipated. We’ll leave the light on for him.”
Sanders suffered a lateral meniscus injury against the Packers and he too still has the potential to play Sunday.
“Like Garvin there is more optimism than initially anticipated,” said Tomlin.
“I saw him this morning and he is looking better coming off that illness,” said Tomlin.
“We are just starting the process of getting guys in the training room to get a clear indication of the injuries coming off the game,” said Tomlin. “As always we will prepare the healthy ones and move forward this week.”
